Anyone out there in curriculum/technology land use NWEA at the High School level? We're making the shift for next year to the MAP, and I wanted to talk with any district using it above 8th grade.

Any Promethean ActivInspire users that have transitioned to ClassFlow? I need a few thoughts to start prepping my teachers that are using it.

From what I can tell, it looks like they lose a lot of flexibility with resources, and have a much more simplistic "annotate" over desktop mode. Also curious if anyone is using Activotes still, and how successful they're been with ClassFlow.

Any and all comments, experiences, thoughts are appreciated :)

Any PLTW Gateway people in here that can help address a question? Looking at bringing the App Creators course to our Middle School next year, but it's strictly Android Tablets and MIT's App Inventor. We're cool doing that, but we'd also like to eventually have kids coding for iPads as well with Swift.

Does anyone have any knowledge of face to face courses, classes, networks of support, etc. that could potentially help bring Apple and Swift based coding on board to compliment creating apps for Android tablets as well?

Help with Adobe workshops!

I have a teacher that wants to step up his game with Adobe tools and is looking for any and all workshops within Michigan this summer for using Adobe Creative Cloud tools, specifically Premier and Photoshop. Any resources or workshops anyone can point me towards?

It's been awhile since I've shared the semi-regular Tech Director Chat podcast here, but I'm curious to know how other schools are addressing the recent uptick in OCR complaints regarding the accessibility of your district's web resources. I want our websites and digital tools to be as accessible as possible, and I'd love to know what others are doing to help address this issue.

Anyone have any research data for effective/appropriate testing duration for K-12 students? Honest question, although I'm sure I'll get snarky responses :)

FYI, finally got off my butt and published a new blog post after 6 months...AND created a new video story problem!

Does anyone have any suggestions for supplemental math and ELA apps/programs/activities that cognitively impaired students at the High School level could access on iPads or laptops? Looking to help them build some foundational skills similar to an IXL or Moby Max.
