Yorkville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Biz Boo on Sat., Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by for business trick-or-treat and a chance to visit a fire engine. Check their website for details.

Did you know that Illinois is the biggest producer of pumpkins in the United States? Check some of them out at Blackberry Farms Pumpkin Weekends throughout October. Fun for the whole family including pumpkin decorating, hay rack rides, carousel and the pumpkin train.

Happy 4th Birthday to Water Street Studios of Batavia! They will celebrate the big event beginning on Fri., Oct. 4 with the opening of their 4th Anniversary Show. Opening night begins at 6 p.m. and will feature snacks and a cash bar as well as works from several area artists.

Need a zombie fix? Experience the cult classic "Night of Living Dead" like you never have before...live and on stage as a musical! Aurora's own Riverfront Playhouse has made this original production an annual tradition. Performed every Friday and Saturday night through Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. Come dressed as a zombie and get $2 off admission.

Hunting and Fishing Days kicks off this Saturday at Silver Springs State Park in Yorkville. The weekend is full of family friendly events including kids fishing, canoeing, hunting dog demonstrations, yarn spinning, fly fishing demonstrations, trap shooting and archery.

Introduction
Formed in 1987, the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (AACVB) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to aggressively promoting and marketing the area as a premier overnight destination. The goal of the AACVB is to enhance the economic and environmental well-being of our region comprised of ten communities: Aurora, Batavia, Big Rock, Hinckley, Montgomery, North Aurora, Plano, Sandwich, Sugar Grove and Yorkville.
