I came here as a non-Cuban tourist, so take this review for what it's worth. I had a cubano sandwich and something I could only describe as a fried-corn-cheese pancake. I would definitely recommend the cubano. It was crispy and delicious. The pancake was a bit heavy, but also tasty. I do believe this is an authentic Cuban joint, because there is no menu and English communication was a bit of an issue. There were a lot of other things behind the serving counter that looked delicious. If I'm ever back in town, I'll go back and try something more exotic.

Since they don't have a menu the cashier was nice enough to point out some menu items we should try. The sandwich and patties we had were excellent and for a local fast food place the place was exceptionally clean and organized. The staff was extremely friendly and the food is not expensive. Our first taste of authentic Cuban food.

So much food...so little stomach! plates enough for 2. Tasty Cuban food with hearty portions. Small place, gets crowded!

Always, Great food! And at the best price for Miami. Everything is made fresh.

The lechon is amazing, the best I know of in south beach...tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned...just amazing. The coladas are great, the service is fast and friendly, the sides are good and the prices are very modest. I cannot recommend this place enough.

One of my favorite spots. This is a local place with delicious authentic Cuban. They don't have a menu and the staff don't really speak English (one criterion for excellent food in Miami) but they are very friendly and patient as I struggle to practice my Spanish. Its also the best place for people watching: the local Cuban old men who have been living here since the 60s hang out outside and smoke cigars and chat all day with cafe coladas. They are also very friendly and smile at passersby... Look out for the guy always wearing the cowboy hat and boots with a cigar. He's a character!

Fantastic Cubano -- best I've ever had. No menu, so if you want something besides a sandwich, just point to it in the case. There's indoor seating and also a walk-up window.
