This is good advice, but oddly lacks any concrete details on how to make use of the most effective method, which is phone calls. Fortunately, I have one way to do it right here!

The Congressional switchboard number is: 202-224-3121
You'll be prompted as follows:
- Press 1 to contact your Senators, 2 to contact your Representative (in the House)
- Enter your 5-digit Zip code (or speak your state name in the case of Senators)
- For your Representative, only 1 choice will be offered - press 1.
- For your Senators, select 1 or 2 to be connected to whichever one you want to contact. (If you're trying to communicate your opinion about a vote, you'll probably want to call back and select the other as well.)

You may be put on hold for a bit, but eventually you should be connected with a staffer and be able to speak your piece. Remember, BE POLITE as these folks are probably being overwhelmed with calls. It may also be useful to have what you want to say to them prepared/written down - having at least a list of the points you want to mention will be very useful to having the call go smoothly and efficiently. And, again, BE POLITE.

2017 is a prime number.
