Great experience, Betty was an awesome waitress, food was delicious. Cold beer, after a long day of walking in extreme heat, nice ceasar salad, home made pasta dishses, reasonable prices, good wine. Might go back before leaving Boston.

Artu, Artu, what happened to you? After visiting Boston as a tourist more than 10 years ago, I was brought to Artu by a friend and fell in love with it. I remember thinking, if this is how all of Boston is, then I will really love this place. Well, it's been a long time since then, and while I have been to the North End location and think it's amazing, the Beacon Hill location is now anything but. I felt like I was walking into a dingy old diner. The menu online has options that are not on their printed menu in the restaurant. So while I had worked myself up for an amazing dinner, it did not exist. They offered to make me a version of it, but in the end, it was pretty gross and so not worth the very expensive price. The bread was not great, and while the service was fine, the experience as a whole was very underwhelming. I hope they figure out what's not working and fix it, because this place USED to be incredible!

Great Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant now has a bar on the first floor and dining room overlooking Prince St. on the second. My favorite dishes to note are the bruschetta, calamari and Orecchiette e Gamberi e Broccoli Rabe. And absolutely check out the summer drink menu--great list of refreshing, original concoctions.

Disappointing! Nice menu but did not live up to expectations and the service was rushed.

this is my favorite take-out spot in the north end -- their sandwiches and salads can't be beat. i've tried pretty much every tomato/mozzarella/basil/prosciutto sandwich in boston and theirs is by far my favorite.
