Not sure what all the 5 star ratings are for but this place is over priced and the menu is limited. The fondue is okay, the ambience is nice but the whole experience was a waste of money.

I had seen Melting Pot in Richmond before, but was never able to visit due to long waits. This location was very nice and we were seated right away. It is a real experience to cook your own food fondue style, but it was very enjoyable once you get the hang of it. We revisited for an office party and the ladies had a great time. I think this place is best for a larger group. I think we shall return for the desert option one night when we have time. The molten chocolate with dippers was to die for...

Awesome! The service is great, the owner is always accessible and friendly with guests, the food is amazing. Definitely pricy but worth it in my opinion! And this particular melting pot appears to offer more 'special/discount nights' than any other I've seen.

Extremely expensive, great date restaurant and great for desserts.

My husband & I are "regulars". Whenever we have a rare date night we come here. The staff and the owner recognize us and are so friendly. The service is exceptional. The food is delicious. I've heard people say they don't like the melting pot, but I think in some cases it's because they didn't order the right thing. The menu can be confusing. Our favorites are the California salad, fiesta cheese (kinda spicy), mojo cooking style with the original entree, and all of the chocolate is delicious. The owner is there most of the time it seems, if you have any problem he'll fix it. Great place.

Our visit was the first time my husband had been to a melting pot. It was our first anniversary, and things could not have gone any better. Our waiter, Nolan, was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeabe, courteous, and attentive (our receipt says Nolan, although the credit card presentation holder said "Ryan"). If we were out of something or had a question, we did not have to wait long at all to be waited on. We chose to do the Date Night special, one of many fine specials this melting pot has. The night went well as we started each course. The salad was an excellent transition into the third course even though we could have kept eating the wonderful cheese fondue forever. Honestly, if you have a sweet tooth like my husband and I, save a little more room than you may want to for dessert ( I say "more than you may want" because you will most likely wish to eat more and more, ignoring dessert, if you choose a third course). The evening was fantastic, my husband was thoroughly surprised by the framed picture and box of dipped strawberries that came with our meal. He loved it so much that he has requested we go again for his birthday. I definitely agree. Overall: The best melting pot I have been to. Amazing service, great atmosphere, generous specials, and a caring attitude toward customers. Absolutely perfect for special occasions. Heaven on earth for chocolate lovers.

Dine with my ladies friends in melting pot during their ladies night on April 13th mainly because of their Coach event, where they advertised that a lucky lady during that night will win one coach bag ...this is the exact advertisement "During our Ladies Night Out event we will be raffeling off one Coach bag to a lucky guest joining us. " then around 930 pm, coach personnel packed up and left the restaurant without doing the raffle, we been told that they will just do it in their coach office and will advise the winner via email.... we never heard anything from coach ...I guess we didnt win..but the question is ....did they ever had a raffle and was it really a fair raffle???I dont think so....I will never be fooled again by this false advertisement !!!
