This Romano-British copper alloy brooch was excavated as part of the Time Team - Turkdean excavations in 1997! The inscription is a good luck motto which reads ‘UTERE FELIX’, ‘use this happily’.

This gold ‘ring-money’ has just been adopted from Corinium Museum! #StoneAgetoCorinium
The Bronze Age gold penannular ring, sometimes known as ‘ring-money’ or a ‘tess-ring’ was discovered in a field by a metal detector in Batsford, Gloucestershire. The function of such rings is uncertain, it may just be ornamental.
