Don't know if anyone else saw this earlier today. Reminds me of last year when a teenager remarked that Facebook will be done by the end of 2013 (I was thinking 2015 at the time). I love Apple, and this makes some sense...  http://news.cnet.com/8301-17852_3-57563665-71/apple-is-done-say-teens/

My organization is mentioned in Education Week today by Tom Vander Ark who refers to us an education "impact" organization that is making a difference nationally. I'd appreciate it if you could share this with your friends to help spread the word. You could also encourage them to follow us in support of improving teaching and learning.
Our organization appreciates being mentioned as a San Francisco, California-based "impact" organization that is making a difference in education nationwide.

Great article that appears in the San Francisco Chronicle today. The journalist, Mike Kepka, captures one of my son's favorite things to do - building sandcastles at the seashore - and ties it into the process of rebuilding and starting over that he will no doubt need to get used to throughout his lifetime. Happy New Year!
