An Arkansas judge has struck down all state laws preventing gay couples from marrying, expanding on his order finding such bans unconstitutional.
 Judge Chris Piazza with Pulaski County Circuit Court said he will strike down the law barring county clerks from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

This was no April Fools' Day joke!
The city of Springdale adjusted its emergency alert notification system after sending out many faulty alerts from around the county yesterday, including a tsunami warning. The city released a statement that the system is back online running normally.

Baby Jordan couldn't wait to get delivered and caught her parents off guard in a hospital in Rogers, Ark.  Unfortunately, doctors didn't suspect her birth either.  It's a unique delivery.

Introduction

Angela Taylor joined 40/29 News as a news anchor/reporter in June 2010. Angela co-anchors and reports weeknights at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. with 40/29’s Craig Cannon.She also anchors the 9 on The Arkansas CW.

“I like telling the story from not only behind the anchor desk, but also out in the community,” said Angela.

Previously, Angela worked at KTAB-TV in Abilene, Texas, where she anchored, reported and produced the station’s 5, 6 and 10 p.m. news. She was part of the news team recognized by The Lone Star EMMY chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the station’s commitment to news excellence. While at KTAB, Angela covered important breaking news stories, including the devastating Texas floods of 2007. Before joining KTAB, Angela served as anchor, reporter and producer in San Angelo, Texas at KLST-TV.

A Texas native, Angela is a graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in English. Taylor worked her way through Angelo State while playing on the women’s soccer team, and within a month of her arrival in Arkansas, joined a recreational soccer league in Springdale.

“I’m a friendly person and wanted to get acquainted with my new neighbors, so what better way than to get back on the soccer field?" Angela said.

As a runner and outdoor enthusiast, Angela, her husband Justin and daughter Turner are already enjoying the Natural State!
