Amazing fact: the difference between your DNA and that of any other living human is a maximum of 0.1%.
And that between you and your closest primate cousin is less than 2%.
So, we're all not just immigrants from Africa (at some point in time) but more closely related than we think.
I recently edited a book of Linguistics, in which I learned that the language tree and the genetic tree almost precisely match each other, and each lead us all back to Eastern Africa, where the first human beings began, between 150,000-200,000 years ago.
