Introduction

Growing Tall LLC is the outlet for writing, teaching, and presentations by Ginger Hudson. The first commercial publication by Growing Tall LLC is A Guide to Landscape Maintenance for Central Texas Gardens. This electronic book can be found on Apple’s iBookstore.

Ginger Hudson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Design. Ginger worked in Los Angeles as a Graphic Designer for advertising agencies and independent businesses. In Austin, Texas, Ginger was the Art Director for the American Botanical Council heading production for HerbalGram magazine. After joining the Native Plant Society of Texas, she served as President of the Austin Chapter for four years. From 2000 to 2010, Ginger operated her own landscape design and maintenance business caring for commercial and residential landscapes. This experience led Ginger to teach The Art of Garden Design beginning in 2006 at the Laguna Gloria campus of The Art School at the Austin Museum of Art. She also taught two courses in the GoNativeU program: the Basics of Landscape Design and Landscape Maintenance. This program was offered at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center through the University of Texas’ Continuing Education department.

In addition to completing the Central Texas Master Naturalist program, Ginger has also completed the Alaska Master Gardener program
