We wish we could visit more often. Their working lunch menu at £14.95 represents excellent value for money. Evenings can get busy so it's advisable to book in advance and ask for Ollie. Tell him we sent you!

Turned up with far flung family for celebration keen to try booked and confirmed Tuesday special tasting menu. Told manager had changed, menu no longer available and no, they hadn't thought it necessary to phone back and tell us despite both booking and confirmation phone calls from us had stressed we were only coming for this particular treat. Manager/waiter barely apologized, offered no concession for badly mucking us about so we went elsewhere. Unbelievable customer service!

Nice meal, staff and location, but the clientele there were all up themselves and desperate for attention

Excellent service and ambience. We had the early evening menu which was incredible and amazing value. You get a choice of 2 or 3 courses and a glass of wine. The quality of the food is exceptional and the staff are friendly and attentive. The only think I would have liked is for the plates to be warmed. Highly recommend.

Close to 5 stars - I would have preferred to give it 4 1/2. Friendly welcome, good front of house, nice décor - smart but warm. Food always very good to excellent - little squid in tomato sauce excellent; soup with wild boar sausage very good; partridge good, but liver croquettes excellent; veal excellent; fig tart excellent (best figs I've ever had). Wine list, although not cheap, absolutely fantastic. Montagny Premier Cru a real find. The Sauternes is equally impressive. Last night was the third time we've been and so far so good. Equal best restaurant in Wimbledon, along with Suk Saran.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent food. I am Norwegian and generally unimpressed by the fish in this country, but I had the special of the day - Monkfish - and it was excellent. Very fresh and tasty. Furthermore, it makes a pleasant change to dine with table cloths.
