The Maplanga Team (Vic Falls Connection) visited Swaziland recently and one of our many adventures includes a Malolotja Canopy Tour.  This canopy tour is situated in the Malolotja Nature Reserve and consists of eleven elevated forest platforms, ten slides and a 50 metre long suspension bridge that crosses the Majolomba River.

We experienced the thrill of gliding through the forest canopy in one of the last mountain wilderness areas left in Swaziland. It was an adventure that none of us will ever forget!

Want to see game AND see Victoria Falls? We recommend you consider Imbabala Lodge as your destination. Imba (as we call it) is about in hours’ drive from the centre of Vic Falls. It lies within a private concession on the Zambezi Riverbank; almost slap bang on the Zimbabwe-Botswana border.
The accommodation is rustic-comfortable so if you are after air-con smart décor and tower food, it's not the place for you. Not to say that the lodge isnt comfortable or without creature comforts, but the charm of the lodge is in the chilled atmosphere, wildlife opportunities and amazing view of the Zambezi River.
Over the years we have seen some pretty amazing game sightings at Imbabala but one of the best has to be the leopard kill our consultant Brigitte saw this weekend while on a game drive.
Imbabala is a brilliant place to ‘relax and enjoy’ so tag a couple of days here onto a stay in Vic Falls - or if time is short, visit the Falls rainforest quickly before setting off to the bush to enjoy the peace. Rates include all meals and two in-house activities a day. Step by our specials page to see our latest Imbabala package .

We advise all our UK clients to arrange yellow fever vaccine timeously
Sanofi Pasteur MSD has advised that yellow fever vaccine supply problems are expected to affect the UK and Europe. This might be a problem for clients travelling over the Christmas period.

Paul Hardiman, Communication Manager at Sanofi Pasteur MSD, told Tourism Update that the supply shortfall had been caused by a temporary manufacturing problem, but there were no issues with the vaccine currently available.

"The company is working hard to address this issue and we apologise for the inconvenience caused to the public and also our customers," said Hardiman. "We are currently informing the European healthcare authorities and working with UK health authorities to minimise the impact of this shortfall in supply of yellow fever vaccine," he added.

Please keep this in mind when you are planning your trip to the Victoria Falls.
