Well said.

Stop asking developers to update their apps for material design

The Material Theme for Android is part of the L Preview SDK, and the L Preview images for the Nexus 5 and 7 are supposed to be only for developers, I mean, it's in the name, L Developer Preview, not user preview, mmkay?

"L" doesn't even have a codename or a version name, for now, it's just "L". It's not supposed to be running on user's devices. In fact, today I decided to get another Nexus 5 to use as my daily driver because I'd like to keep using L on my development phone, but it's too buggy and unstable for me to use as a daily driver. Why are you non-developers using it? It makes no sense.

See here: http://developer.android.com/preview/api-overview.html

The L Developer Preview is intended for developer early adopters and testers.

Caution: Do not not publish apps that use the L Developer Preview to the Google Play store.

We cannot publish applications using the Material theme to the Play Store, and we will not. Period. Stop asking for this.

This is definitely not a problem with the ROM. I can't reproduce it on any device with any media player.

top 10 reasons to DIAF:

#1 Making feature requests without a donation ID or being a familiar face or fan of the ROM and getting offended when we don't care.  Seriously tired of seeing people cry and whine about features that are  "missing" and then seeing them posting in a different ROM's community shortly after starting to work on it.  FUCK. OFF.

#2 Posting a request for device support then copy/pasting the same request elsewhere/everywhere.  That means your device probably sucks and you should get a new one or learn how to maintain it properly yourself since no one else wants to.

#3 Sucking at life

#4 Feeling entitled to anything or having self-centered expectations in an open source community.  For example: if we don't build for a couple days there's no need to be a crybaby about it.  It's our time we're putting into doing that for you... not yours.  We also have tutorials on how to take care of it yourself instead of relying on our time.

#5 Not supporting the actual ROM developers.  This is a big one.  There's too many fake ass copycats out there like MBQ_ that receive support for contributing absolutely nothing.

#6 Not following instructions in the pinned post.

#7 Adding device support to a ROM and then not keeping it up to date.  We don't give a fuck how many ROMs are available for your crappy 3-year-old device.  We care about delivering a stable and high quality product.  It's not fair to expect high coding standards from the ROM and provide shit for device support maintenance.

#8 Openly talking shit on other ROMs or developers.  Andre Saddler is a prime example of what not to do.  It reflects poorly on the entire team.  I have been guilty of this in the past for personal reasons with certain developers but the more time i do this the more respect I have for others involved.. generally..  unless they have a shitty attitude to others.

#9 Asking for things from other ROMs without providing links to the source.  I understand this is not always possible.. but if you can't find them yourself then you shouldn't be doing it anyways.

#10 Thinking any ROM source is the best.  Any of them.  Sure there's developers that aren't as skilled out there but you can't buy creativity.  In any given ROM there's unique things in the code and the user experience.

I'd picture naked geeks on skateboards with long hair and pubic lice. With or without mud.

I'd pray for rain and avoid any psychedelic/hallucinogenic drugs @ that one.

I personally have been working hard on a build for an obscure device. As most of the guys know. It is tedious work and can be unnerving. People that bash someone's hard work can EAD. It is annoying and, by me will NOT be tolerated. Once its stable, I'll set up a release and build regularly.

Huge beer list. lots of imports. These ppl saying they only have american beers obviously don't know what they are talking about. They have everything short of single batch beers and seasonals. The food is pretty good if you actually order something they have to make and not the frozen garbage. Service always rocks.
