I just moved to VA from another state and had to get an emissions test and safety inspection. The guys at Yates made sure I passed my inspection even though there was a discrepancy regarding some lights on the rear end of my vehicle. They ended up saving me a lot of money and were very friendly and nice to work with. When I went to pick up my car it had been washed and vacuumed out, which I greatly appreciated. Would definitely go back here for any future car needs!

When I reflect on my time living at Sonata, I cringe. Sonata was perhaps the most poorly built complex that I have ever lived in and it literally showed in the walls. Our neighbors would wake us up with parties at 2am on random weekdays and the front office did very little to stop it. You could hear everything your neighbors were doing...everything. And because the building was so badly insulated we froze in the winter and roasted in the summer, even with the heat/air on. Although the office staff has improved slightly since the last office manager (who shall remain nameless) left, the staff under her left a very bad taste in our mouth. We once had a broken garbage disposal rendering our sink useless and the front office made us wait days to have it repaired because it was "not deemed an emergency". What's worse is that although Sonata appears to be a safe place to live, it's not. The pedestrian gates are always broken, allowing anyone and everyone, including our neighbors random party guests to come and go as they please, slamming the heavy metal gates on their way out. And whatever you do, do not leave your garage door open. One time the garage door was broken and while we waited to have it repaired, our car was broken into. When we informed the front office they had zero sympathy and did nothing to inform other neighbors of what was happening. Oh and if you expect to get your security deposit back, forget it. The management will come up with tons of additional charges to deduct from your final statement. If you've signed a lease here, good luck is all we have to say.
