Their burgers are delicious! I definitely recommend their Shrimp Cajun burger which was juicy in every bite. My sister also enjoyed her avocado burger. The burger would have been perfect if they deveined the shrimp, but that's pretty much minor. Mason's grill offers a free side such as french fries, potato salad, etc. There is a reason why the Food Network rated the Shrimp Cajun burger as the best burger in Louisiana. Being located near the center of LA, there is no excuse to visit Baton Rouge to try this burger. Our server, Jeremiah, was prompt in delivering our food. I will definitely be coming back!

Definitely one of the best places to eat in BR! Almost anytime you go, though, expect a decent wait. The entire menu is wonderful, and you've got to try the build your own bloody mary. Personally, my favorite time to go is Saturday brunch (expect a huge crowd). Reasons being the great brunch menu, but especially because of the bottomless mimosas for ~$5. You can't beat that!

Brunch was ok. Food was average, service was present only when taking orders and delivering food. Quite loud but not a bad experience. Wait wasn't too long.

I read the reviews and had so many speak of how good the food was, that I was excited to go this place. I must say the name of this place should be Cafe Yuck. It was me and two other guest and neither one of us enjoyed the food. The service was great, but I can say that it was an experience but I will NEVER be returning. This place is overrated. I had the Monnet Platter, crab cake taste was disguisting as well as the seafood augratin sauce. I must say I was very disappointed.

Mason's is a great neighborhood restaurant that's one of my personal favorites. A wide variety of choices, brunch is excellent, a solid line of 6-8 taps, bloody marys, the owners and the people they hire are always nice. They always put on for LSU and the local schools such as Woodlawn. I see a lot of other people mentioning the wait. In my experience it's only on the Sunday brunch that the wait can be brutal but that's simple a matter of capacity. Be aware that Sunday is slammed.

YUM. Burgers are so so good. Had the avacado burger with fries and loved it. Very similar to burgers from Mug Shots. Giant, semi-sweet, fresh buns (think Hawaiin bread), decent sized patty, and fresh toppings. Will be coming back for sure.
