This was (I think) our third visit, and Smoke + Cedar has been just terrific every time. We've always come for breakfast or brunch and couldn't be happier with the service or the food. Joaquin was a friendly and attentive server and the food was great. Mom got the "build your own bubbly" cocktail and chose loganberry+ grapefruit, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tart. My husband ordered the bottomless bloody mary, which was tasty and crammed with his favorite garnishes. My sister was delighted by her bottomless mimosa. Even the coffee was excellent. Can't say enough about the food: Mom's shrimp omelet, Dad's pork belly benedict, sister's french toast, husband's burger, or my prime rib omelet. (Oh, and our table split a yeasted waffle because it just sounded too good to pass up, and we were not disappointed.) It sounds kind of gushy, but it's true: everyone loved their entrees, and there was a fair amount of "omg, you have to try this" and sharing. We had a great time and can't wait to go back. We're lucky to have Smoke + Cedar so close to home.

Couldn't be more impressed. I've had two dogs seen by Summit (an elderly Italian greyhound who required two surgeries to have salivary tissue removed due to a mucocele) and a young Parson Russell terrier with a history of liver issues who was lethargic/lacking appetite/possibly having trouble urinating. Every time we've been to Summit the communication has been great (with front staff as well as medical staff), the team has been clear and thorough in explaining what's going on, and everyone's taken the time to make sure we understand what's going on and what our options are. Over the last few years several coworkers and friends have had pets at Summit for various reasons and without exception they've had good things to say. I would recommend Summit Veterinary Referral Center without hesitation. I really feel lucky to live close to Summit!

My husband and I encountered Intrigue Chocolate Co. at a fundraiser we attended; they were providing samples and selling truffles and beans (and donating a percentage of the proceeds to the nonprofit hosting the fundraiser.) This is the best chocolate I've ever eaten, and I'm in deep mourning for the truffle we purchased to take home. Why did we only buy one? Why? Would love to check out their facility in Pioneer Square. The gentleman at the fundraiser was terrific, knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I was still eating that truffle.

Great place! Deservedly popular. We had a bit of a wait on a Friday night, but that wasn't a surprise and it was pleasant to wander downtown Turlock for fortyish minutes while we waited for a table. Nice selection of beers and ciders, and the food was excellent. Good, hearty, slightly fancy bar food at not-cheap but totally reasonable prices. We had a good time and I hope to go back on our next visit to California. Staff was super friendly, too.

Been coming here for over a year and I just get happier. I've had Rebecca and Shyla cut and style my hair and they are amazing. Both are talented and detail-oriented, and they're good at helping you figure out what you want from pictures/descriptions/my-usual-bleats-of-confusion. And they're charming! My mother-in-law was visiting from Texas and wanted to get her hair cut and for DAYS afterwards she'd mention Rebecca and how lovely she was. These ladies will take care of you. Prices are reasonable, ambiance is chill and classy, and the hours are convenient. I could ask for nothing more from a salon.
