Correct! But it was frustrating experience. First attempt failed half-way through because the tablet shut down due to low battery, despite 'charging' all night from 'nearly full' - a look at the battery graph after the event showed that something very odd had been going on. Plugged in external battery, redid the capture, but it crashed towards the end and the app reset. Worked finally, but by then was losing patience (and the resonance of the chapel is such that the tiny bleep it makes on each tile capture was clearly audible to all...)

Really, Microsoft? You're surreptitiously injecting code/tags into user files synced with OneDrive for Business? Bug, bad idea or actual malware? http://www.myce.com/news/microsoft-onedrive-for-business-modifies-files-as-it-syncs-71168/
Microsoft OneDrive for Business is found to modify Microsoft Office files and various other files types as it syncs them between devices.

There is something in the Google end user agreement that says they do the same thing and they have the right to do it.  Here is what I am thinking the reason is.  Because we can edit documents from different devices this is part of the version history that is kept to keep your documents up to date.  In fact what the article doesn't show is was the code injected by a process on the server or was it injected by the app running on your system or in your browser if that is where you are editing.  Truth is companies have been injecting metadata in different forms for years.  People are just getting paranoid  that Google and Microsoft are doing evil things with there documents.  If your worried about it then buy a couple external hard drives and do your backups your self.  If you want access to your files everywhere then live with the risks.

Some discontinuities in the rail stitching but overall pretty neat.

Took me a moment or two longer than it should have done to twig that one. Very perceptive!

Solid-state physics seems to be devoted to the idea that if you can do it, you can do it in silicon. Hence the interest in silicene, a single-atom thick mesh of silicon atoms analogous to the wunderkind graphene - but it isn't coming easily. Latest update from Nature on the joys and pitfalls of the new nanotech. http://www.nature.com/news/sticky-problem-snares-wonder-material-1.12586

These are something most people in Rurope look at every day. I csptured them just now in my London living room - what are they, where do they come from, and what's the new cool name for the bits that aren't?

Spot on (I did consider hiding the frequencies, but in the end...). First time I've seen them on a spectrum analyser, too. Not sure if those curious spurs outside the main envelopes are part of them or not - time to crank down the span and sharpen the bandwidth...(but what's the space between the channels called, for a bonus mark?)
