One of the best food carts downtown. Their turkey Taproot sandwich is delicious and very satisfying - but it sells out daily, so be warned. Their soup is perfect for cold, rainy days. They are great about posting the daily soups and grilled cheese on Twitter/Facebook so you can check before heading out for lunch.

Had an excellent tomato and fennel soup on a recent rainy day with a half grilled cheese sammie. It hit the spot completely and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other soups and sandwiches.

Butternut squash soup hit the spot on a rainy afternoon. The half grilled cheese addition made for a hearty lunch.

These people care about their customers, but they don't necessarily seem to care a whole lot about their food. Unlike most food carts, they'll try to engage you in chatter. Unfortunately both their soups and sandwiches come off as very plain an watered down at times. If you want amazing sandwiches and soups I'd recommend Portland Soup company over this place, especially since i's also fairly close.

So many noodles packed into a small container, in a good way. Had the "F***ing Phenomenal Chicken Soup" which is truly a fitting name. The grilled cheese with the soup went perfect. Really really good sandwich and they put yummy things inside it other than cheese. A perfect foodcart on a cold/rainy Portland day!

Just amazing. I've never had a meal from Savor that was less than fantastic! Hint: get their tomato soup and 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich for the ultimate rainy day meal.

First of all, it's soup. Perfect for every rainy day in Portland. I'm a vegetarian, and there are always plenty of choices for me. Try the idea of the day, which is a scrumptious grilled cheese creation. I mean it is amazing, and you can add a half of it with your soup for 3 bucks. What more could you want!!

I LOVE these guys. The staff is super friendly, the rotating menu captivates daily, and the portions are exactly perfect for the price. Soups in the hands of Savor consistently transcend expectations, and the daily grilled cheese ideas are inspired. They are exemplary: when I tell people about Portland food carts, I always begin with Savor.
