I was just talking to my son's wrestling coach. He's becoming bona-fide boxing hater. News/commentators has twisted the popular opinion to polarize combat sports viewers.

I grew up watching boxing with my dad and granddaddy. Mike Tyson, Evander, Sugar Ray, Duran Sweet Pea, I loved it all. MMA matured into an awesome product. Guys like Chris Weidman are the evolution of the well rounded fighter. But just like my hip hop, movies and pretty much everything else money is corrupting boxing and mma.

Floyd was a great fighter who messed up trying to chase $ now we got this D bag Connor MacGregor who could've been great but no he wants fame rather than greatness. If i was MMA i'd be afraid. Any thoughts?

As a rookie player, I've been wondering if there is something to critically watching a guitarist play. I always wonder where the pick is when the player does something right hand complicated like tapping. Am I the only one who does this? If not, what do you guys do when looking a guitarist play? What videos are iconic? I recently enjoyed the Rock'n'Roll HoF rendition of My Guitar Gently Weeps cover by His Purple Highness (RIP).

Do you think you have to remember your notes/chords in order to play a song? I still have problems looking at the screen and making my fingers fret correctly (even hit the right strings for G, B, e).

I was wondering if any of you have found a tab book for sale for Rocksmith. I find that even playing slowly I am not remembering what to do or can't make my fretting hand make the adjustments. I probably will sit down and transcribe everything but I'd buy tab if I could find it.

I love the hard science fiction genre. This article has me excited for a few new books in 2016. Enjoy!

Anyone ever use a Shredneck or any other practice guitar for practicing when away from you regular guitar(s)? Is it worth it?

I also just heard of a new product called a Jamstik that can be hooked up with your (sorry) Mac products to have interactive practice. Seemed cool.

I'm teaching myself Python. I just wanted to keep a journal of my activity in this learning process.

I know that many students are getting ready to start working on their Science Fair projects. I normally direct my kids to the Project Ideas section on Science Buddies, but this Google Science Fair Idea Springboard is awesome. I honestly am thinking about doing my own science fair project just 'cause.
