I am looking for a solution to my problem... I know some people that only source of reliable internet is cellular with a booster. We are trying to figure out a way to come up with a solution that would monitor bandwidth on a per device usage. Which could then be figured out who is using the most data.
I have a dd-wrt router, but the current bandwidth monitor is just overall usage. Does anyhow have a solution to our issue?

I would like to upgrade my Podcast downloader to something more modern, but I am having troubles finding something that suits my needs.
I currently have it setup to download RSS feeds via my old Windows Home Server (using program called POCA) to which allows me to download each Podcast into its own folder on the server then also allows me to setup email notification using my ISPs IMAP settings.
To which then I use Windows File Explorer and/or Plex to view across multiple devices.

I am looking at upgrading my old WHSv1 to something more modern, such as a Synology NAS (haven't decided the route I am going yet) or something but I need a new podcast catcher that allows to download to different folders and allows for SMTP email notifications.

Any recommendations?

So I've made the decision to starting running DD-WRT on my routers, and wow, won't be going back to stock firmware anytime soon, so much options, and customizing.

However, and I assume DD-WRT could handle this somewhere, even though I love the bandwidth monitor, it would be great to be able to break up the monitoring between devices...
Would be interesting to see how much each device uses in a set period, for those on poor data caps, whom are running over their quotas. (not as its a problem for me, but I know people whom do have the problem and would love some sort of monitor which would give a device breakdown of bandwidth usage)

What is out there which would provide something like such, running in software?

Join us on Monday night at 7 PM PT (10 PM ET) to talk with +Jay Patel  and +Varina Patel  about what's new! They have a new landscape tutorial that just hit the net, so we'll do a Q&A about that... see some of their new pretty photos... take questions from the audience... and, well, who knows?  Anything can happen! :)

In fact, if you have any questions, just drop them right down here in this space...  I'll be watching along with +Peter Giordano ! This will be great fun!
