I have tried and tried to make my Android tablet replace my old netbook so I can use it for work, and I've almost given up. I even bought the Asus eeePad Slider with the built-in keyboard because I thought the virtual keyboard would be the problem. It isn't.

The problem is synchronising files across from my Windows laptop. Whatever I use - Google Drive, Dropbox, the WiFi File Transfer app, is too much work to make sure I have the files I need available when I don't have an internet connection.

Also I'm not game to edit large Word files using Polaris Office in case I lose the formatting of footnotes, endnotes, heading styles and so on. My productivity away from the home/office has dropped.

Is it just me? Am I missing something?
