Although I'm told--probably correctly--that Android tablets (e.g. Nexus 7) that were purchased prior to Google Play for Education CANNOT be connected to GooglePlay, I'd like to get your expert opinion. I don't want to imply that the experts I am currently consulting are wrong, I just want to make sure that we've got all our bases covered.

So, any ideas? Can I join and administer my Nexus 7 from last year and purchase content via Google Play for Education? +Rusty Meyners

Introduction
gplus.to/mguhlin

Transforming teaching, learning and leadership through the strategic application of technology has been Miguel Guhlin’s motto. As a veteran educator comfortable with modelling the use of technology at the classroom, campus, and district level, he has a simple goal. That goal is to use powerful technologies to transform practice and enable learners to communicate and collaborate with each other.

As Director of Technology Operations for a 5A school district in Texas, Past President of the state-wide TCEA Technology Education Coordinators group in one of the largest United States technology educator organizations, he continues to model the use of emerging technologies in schools. You can read his published writing, engage him in conversation via his blog at Around the Corner-MGuhlin.org

Gunn Nissan was great! I really appreciated the no-pressure sales tactics, the friendly and supportive facilitation that clarified options without the burden of overbearing salesperson. Kudos to Abe Novy and the rest of the Gunn Nissan team for making this a productive use of time!
