Headed to the Fat Cat to celebrate a graduation this weekend. As usual, the food was delicious and the portions LARGE. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta, which has chicken, romaine, and pasta served with a caesar cream sauce. Imagine a chicken caesar salad pasta. The sauce has a great consistency, creamy but not thick. It's tangy but rich, and really compliments the chicken. I would order again. Fiance ordered the mac and cheese, but he always requests buffalo chicken. They do a great job. The sauce is similar to the one mentioned above, but with several types of cheese. It's a amazing, and could feed a family of 4. The one disappointment was the $4 side of grilled asparagus I ordered. It came with only 4 pieces of asparagus. I didn't think it was a great value. Save room for dessert! I've had their crème brûlée twice (amazingggg...always flavored with a nice liquor) but this time I ordered the chocolate brownie sundae. It is perfect to share, with a lot of hot fudge and caramel, a hot brownie, and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Went in on a Thursday afternoon for lunch with a friend and we both found the wait staff to be rather rude. After being dumped at a table and having a bottle of water confiscated, my friend tried to order a BLT. While this was not on the menu, they did boast an assortment of sandwiches and salads (and comfort food) so we thought this shouldn't be to much of an issue. The waitress didn't like that she tried to order off menu and first made the excuse that "We don't have the bread for that." When asked if bread was the only issue, our waitress replied "Oh well we don't do that." She was rather curt about it and very unsympathetic. She didn't even bother to ask the chef if it was possible. After receiving our meals, we were hardly checked on at all, almost completely ignored. While the food we did order was tasty and reasonably priced, we chose not to stick around for dessert and quickly left after we were done eating. The meal just wasn't worth the rude reception we received and we wont be returning to the Fat Cat any time soon.

Mandatory stop when traveling to Boston area. Lobster Mac and Cheese is awesome. I also recommend their wings and homemade blue cheese.

Food was excellent. Service was great, portions were large. Pulled pork sandwich was good, as is the giant Mac and cheese and Turkey sandwich. Prepare to take food home. Prices are amazingly reasonable. Decor is mediocre, but who cares?
