Story
Introduction
I live the internet. I check my iphone and ipad every chance I have when I'm on the road.

Social Media is a no brainer.  Reputation Management goes hand in hand with Social Media.  I truly enjoy having the opportunity to learn from people that are making a difference in how businesses are presenting themselves online.

I work for the largest online classified automotive site and want to gain as much information from those in the know to share with my customers!
Bragging rights
Work for the largest classified automotive site. I know what we do works if the dealers take the time to work it. Looking to find new ways to help my customers utilize social media and expand their reach.

"Major customer service failure on the part of Best Buy Store #1771, 200 Upland Square, Pottstown, PA 19464" 0n 3/25/13. I am a recently diagnosed (3/9/13) Stage IV Cancer patient who purchased an iPhone at another Best Buy in the Horsham, PA location over 1.5 years ago along with a replacement contract for the iPhone 4S for $230. It was explained to me at the time of purchase, that unlike Apple and Apple Care, any Best Buy Customer who purchases the "Best Buy" plan, will receive a new phone and not a "refurbished" phone should something go wrong with their phone and there are no limits as to how many times the phone can be replaced. I have not brought the phone to the store in the past to be replaced or repaired. I did an upgrade to the 6.1.3 iOS two days ago and since then my phone will not answer calls, keep a charge for more than 60 minutes, dial out, etc. It is burning up. I did a soft restore several times, factory restore and nothing has made a difference. This phone is my lifeline to the outside world as I am housebound and on heavy medications. The Dr's cannot reach me to schedule our ongoing appointments nor give me updates on treatment protocol. Friends drove me to this store this afternoon to have my phone replaced. The store was uncooperative wanting to send my phone out for 3-5 days to be told that it doesn't work, offer me "loaner" smart phone, not iPhone with a $50 security deposit and then ultimately replace my phone with a "refurbished phone". I spoke with 2 different "Managers", the GM, Daniel Schwalenberg was not there nor would be back for 2 days. The "Managers" were not willing to reach in the cabinet behind them and offer me a new "replacement phone". They didn't have a "compelling" enough reason to explain to their GM that they were trying to help out a customer desperately in need of a fully working phone, who took the original selling store's word that my phone, should something go wrong with it, it would be replaced with a new phone. They claimed that in order to do so, it would cost the store $800 for an identical phone, 16GB white 4S that Apple is presently selling for $99 plus contract. i was asked to leave the store as I became more upset and with no resolution in sight other than accepting a loaner phone and having to wait on a "refurbished" replacement phone. The store from which I had purchased the phone was an hour away each direction and not being allowed to drive by medical order I could not ask my friends to do this. Unlike company's who excel at the customer experience and satisfaction, the Apple's and Zappos' of the world, this particular store and these particular "Managers" did not have the initiative, compassion nor the desire to make this right. Shame on these "Managers" and shame on Best Buy if you believe this is the way a customer deserves to be treated on general and more so when they have a medical situation like mine and a definite need."
