Featured Athlete: Kelly Halpin!
In 2014 Kelly became the first woman to do “The Picnic” (carrying all of her own gear, nonetheless). The Picnic entails biking from the Town Square to Jenny Lake (about 19 miles), swimming 2 miles across Jenny Lake, and then climbing the Grand Teton. And then doing it all in reverse. Kelly did it in 23.5 hours.

Kelly relies on Opedix tights and Medicine Wheel's healing hands to keep her healthy! Come in to Medicine Wheel Wellness today to get your own pair of Opedix. Or visit their website Enter the code "Halpin" upon checkout to get 15% off your order!

Blog Post: Food For Thought.
"Every 35 days your skin replaces itself. Your liver, about a month. Your body makes these new cells from the food you eat. What you eat literally becomes you. You have a choice in what you're made of. EAT WISELY!"

A fused back. Knee replacements. A shoulder replacement. An ankle replacement. At 74, Bill McClure has had more than his share of orthopedic issues. Still, today he skis, golfs, hikes, fishes, road bikes, and hunts. Last fall, out hunting with his grandson he shot an elk. This winter he’s skiing in Switzerland and Italy for two weeks. Then he’s going fishing in Argentina.
“If I didn’t have Excel and Medicine Wheel to help with my rehab, I know I wouldn’t be doing lots of the things I am able to do,” he says.

No application, no treatment, no medicine, better than sleep. If someone isn’t getting good sleep, everything looks worse than it would with sleep.”

This Sunday 10am-12pm join Jennifer Pepper for a look beyond subjective opinion into the experience of spirituality.
Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to a universal human experience—something that touches us all. People may describe a spiritual experience as sacred or transcendent or simply a deep sense of aliveness and interconnectedness. Spirituality and spiritual wellness are presented for your clarification and understanding of the esoteric energies flowing through all…at all times….
Spiritual questions
For many, spirituality is connected to questions such as:
• What is my connection to the world around me?
• Do things happen for a reason?
• Coincidences….are they meaningful?
• Esoteric energy….what?!
• If I have a body and mind, where is my spirit?

Blog Post: "Nearly a decade ago, a friend gifted me a session with an astrologist for my birthday. She was going to “read my chart.” I wasn’t sure what that meant. When setting up the session, I was asked for the exact time and date of my birth.

The idea that there was meaning in how the stars were aligned at the exact moment of my birth wasn’t something I was familiar with. But this session got my attention because my chart told the story that I was meant to be a healer. How did the stars know that?"
