The mission of the TLCAD's Certification Program is to serve Wounded Warriors (active duty service members and veterans with PTSD, TBI and/or mobility issues) that would like to have their current dog or Service Dog build upon their training and become eligible for certification through an Assistance Dog International (ADI) accredited organization (TLCAD). We Transform Lives with Service Dogs.
Introduction

TLCAD is a non-profit organization that provides custom-trained dogs to individuals in San Diego County whose lives could be made better by being paired with a service dog.

TLCAD has two programs; At Ease for our Wounded Warriors with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Leash-On-Life for children with autism.

TLCAD is a mostly volunteer organization, sustained by Foundations, Grants, Sponsorships and Donations. TLCAD was certified by Assistance Dogs International in 2007, and reaccredited in 2012.

Note: We place dogs only in San Diego County.

We only place Service Dogs for children with autism and Wounded Warriors
