A film site run by a fan of film, not a team of profit focused people or some arty critic, just someone who loves film and is passionate about cinema. Plenty of features, reviews, articles, discussion and some competitions.

Watched 13 Assassins (2010)
I thought that was a little bit of a let down. I expected more but as expected, revisiting other stories, and really need a better edit.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Good but wasn't as good as the original. Too much Hollywood formula for a sequel - more and bigger - Lost sight of the characters and relationships a little. Come on the third.

Watched The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
Finally saw this. Wow. No surprises, no investment. Anger at the lead taking no action against bullying at work. Awards? Really?

Watched Generation Iron (2013 Documentary)
Interesting documentary but I just felt I wanted to get under the skin of the characters more. It all felt very managed and carefully controlled.

Watched Clue (1985)
Ah that's a lot of fun. The multiple endings are great, more so when you consider they showed different endings in different cinemas.

Watched Get Out (2017)
Really enjoyed this film. Cleverly written and some wonderfully shot scares. If it wasn't for the comedic character thread being too comedic when it gets going, I'd have loved it.

Watched Eye in the Sky (2015)
Wow that was good, and tense. The opening scenes had me worried for a moment but the rest of the film was excellent and superbly acted.

Watched Ghost in the Shell (2017)
Strangely, it felt like this has no soul either. Seemed heavy on the editing to keep it going at an action adventure pace.

Good fun, but not as good as I'd hoped for.
