Never leave children or animals in a parked car. Even with windows cracked, temperatures quickly rise and become dangerous. Spread the word to help prevent injury or death—leave pets at home!

Have you noticed that we are now playing soothing music in the clinic? We are doing this to keep out patients calmer during their visit. Thanks to Pet Acoustics, we have noticed less barking and more relaxed pets!! http://ow.ly/FBGE30kzJdB

Short nose breeds like Pugs and Bulldogs (all varieties) often suffer from stenotic nares. This is a condition where there nostrils don’t develop and open up properly and they struggle to breathe. It causes snoring, but can also cause serious issues with their breathing and their ability to cool themselves. They can overheat with minimal exercise and are prone to heat injuries and even death if not closely monitored. We can help them breathe easier by performing a rhinoplasty. We use a surgical laser to remove the excessive tissue and sculpt the nostrils into a proper opening. This doesn’t eliminate all the respiratory issues that short nose causes, but it definitely helps one aspect!
