We speak limited Spanish and used what we could to be respectful travelers, however, we noticed that the native speakers around us were getting MUCH better service. The waiter only came twice during the entire meal - once to take our order and once to provide our drinks. There were tables around us (some of which were seated after us) that ordered, received, and finished their food before we received ours. After over 45 minutes of waiting, I checked with the host and he brought out our food immediately. He seemed frustrated with the waiter, so perhaps that was the disconnect. This restaurant has more expensive prices than other places nearby, so I was hoping that the paella would be better. Unfortunately, even after our long wait her dish was undercooked and mine was very salty. I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this place as it looks like we haven't been the only ones to have this experience. I'd suggest going elsewhere to eat.

Rude waiter. She didn't like that only one of the 3 of us wanted a drink. Got eye roll when we cancelled the pallella when she said it would take 25 minutes.

This place came recommended from one of the locals, and true enough, it was the best meal I had in Barcelona. The prices are reasonable, portions are good and the food is very very tasty. They have an extended list of paellas, and a fair list of tapas. However, it tends to get very busy during the weekends and I would suggest getting there early to avoid a long wait. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you live around Barceloneta.

Friendly welcome and service. Had a very good value set menu (starter, main and pudding for only €15). Food was really nice and filling - the paella was made there! - Not frozen like some other touristy places. Had crème brûlée for pudding which was slightly disappointing as it was a bit burnt. Definitely worth a visit but outside seating does get busy at peak times!

Oh dear, mediocre food. Worst - cockroaches walking in the dining area.

A big menu of paellas. Has the 3 course special, very good bang for the buck!
