Modern hotel offering polished rooms, a steakhouse & a hip lounge, plus a gym & a rooftop pool.- Google
"Great location, service was impeccable, rooms smelled clean and were clean."
"Unhelpful, unprofessional, and uncaring staff and the room wasn't that great."

Phenomenal hospitality. Fantastic location. We had a great view on floor 6. The interior decor was incredible. Staff was exceedingly kind and helpful. The Missing Must Haves (we had the robes, slippers, and coffee kit) were a great perk and made the weekend stay that much more relaxing! Overall, it was an invigorating and exciting experience that we can't wait to book with the Grand Hyatt San Antonio again.

Hotel is located close the convention center and river walk and both destinations are easily walkable. Was able to get early check in, which was nice. Rooms are comfortable, but nothing special. Has decent bar and coffee shop in the lobby. Fitness center is very nice.

The service is fantastic. Very helpful staff and the room service left my looking fresh each day. The conference halls are beautiful. The building is very easy to get around in.

The room had an amazing view overlooking the city and the beds were super comfortable. There was a big storm at the time, but I couldn't hear the thunder. The hotel had great insulation. Our phone didn't work and kept ringing so I disconnected it. The water pressure was perfect. Overall it was a great nights sleep.

I wanted to review the bar, but I couldn't find it. Since this is the next best thing... I order food, it came fast and was amazing. I had to go to the car to get my wife's purse for her medication. The bartender must have thought it was funny, cause he thought it was appropriate to make a rude comment about how cute my purse was... If I wanted jokes I would have gone to Dick's last resort.

Came here as an anniversary gift, King Bed Suite on 17th floor. Room looked nice upon walking in, but then I found hair on the pillows. Shrugged it off and then saw the bottles of water had $5 price tags on them. So I went to the sink in the bathroom to drink water from the tap. The water was a cloudy, almost milk color. Scary! As we left our room to check out the next morning, Housekeeping were doing their rounds and greeted us in the hallway. We then smelled pot smoke and my husband brought it up to the maid. She and him were able to pinpoint which room it was coming from and she said she would call the front desk immediately. Considering the entire floor is a non smoking floor, I would only expect something undignified like that at local motel. So that was a bit of a downer, my husband spent alot of money to treat us for 8 years of marriage. Not sure if we will book here again.

While the room and beds were mostly acceptable, the bathroom was not. There was dirt and debris covering the bottom of the shower, as if the drain had backed up or a large shaggy dog had been given a bath there. To make this worse, it took two days for the hotel to clean the mess, and then only after we went down to the front desk to specifically request the shower to be cleaned. Unbelievable that the shower was not clean at check in and was not cleaned until request. Another issue was discovered upon taking an actual shower- it would be a stretch to say that even half of the jets sprayed water. Additionally, the shower had the weakest water pressure I have experienced outside a camping trip in the boonies. While silly and ultimately a small issue, the vending machines did not even function properly, forcing you to either drink tap water or spend $5 on the in room waters. Normally this would not bother me in the slightest, the water that came out of the sink was disturbingly cloudy. Maybe this is typical San Antonio water, but I expected clear water, not white. I would only recommend staying at this hotel for location, if there is something extremely near by you are going to, or if you happened to obtain an extreme discount. Otherwise this hotel is very much not worth the money.
