Born in Spokane, WA, spent time in the territory of Alaska (before it was a state), grew up in the Clairemont community of north San Dieog County having attended Clairemont High School. Moved to Spokane and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. Joined the Army in 1964. Stationed at Ft. Sill, OK, Ft. Petersburgh, VA, Ft. Ustis, VA. Worked as a parachute rigger at Ft. Benning, GA. Graduated from OCS 1966 and company commander of a light truck company at Ft. Sill, OK. Spent time in Okinawa and other ajoining islands. Left the service in 1969 and attended Eastern Washington College with a teaching degree. Spend 30+ years in northern San Dieog County teaching and retired in 2005. Now I live in Sequim WA with my wife, Susie, and daughter Sandy.
