Eurozone seasonally-adjusted unemployment reported at 9.6% in January 2017, stable with December 2016 and remains the lowest rate in the eurozone since May 2009.

Furthermore, youth unemployment in the eurozone was 20%, compared with 21.7% in January 2016. The lowest rate was observed in Germany (6.5%), while the highest were recored in Greece, Spain, and Italy.
