I grew up in a place we call " North Highland", in Columbus, GA. I attended Fox Elementary and lived in North Highland until I was 12 years old and in the 6th grade. We moved to Brittwood Apartments and I started Britt David Elementary. I received much better grade at this school but didn't have near as many friends, but Marcia Michelle Sellers so became my best friend. We then attended Arnold Middle School and during my 1st year there I was transfered to Daniel Middle, yes that's right, right back to " North Highland" we went. Then in my 9th grade year @ Jordan, I became a mother and decided to drop out of school and work. So i did just that. I got married when I was 17 years old to James Robert Day, Jimmy. We were completely different people so our marriage didn't last. We filed for divorce the next year and I started hanging out with my brother, Jason Colwell, and some of his friends. This is when I would meet an older gentle by the name of Randy Glenn Ford. Oh he promised me the world until I became pregnant when I was 19, then he went back to his "ex-family". I took my daughter to see him 1 time when she was 2 weeks old and he said "she's beautiful but that anit my damn baby", he hasn't seen or heard from either of us since. So, Jimmy and I tried mending our marriage for about 2 1/2 years AFTER I had my daughter and he even claims her as his very own daughter and wouldn't have it any other way. Jimmy wouldn't work for nothing in this world, he would just sit around all day and night playing games on the computer and my kids and myself got tired of looking at the back of his head so we packed up and left for good. Then there was Chuck Bruhn, the owner of Best Pawn in Columbus, GA, we started dating and became engaged Jan of 2001. We were together for 4 years. I went to my first concert with my older sister, Becky Colwell, and we got the opportunity to meet Montgomery Gentry, we got to go and their bus and party with them and a lot more stuff that can't/won't be mentioned on here. They invited us to go with them to the next concert and I was "hooked" so that caused a lot of problems between Chuck and I. I wouldn't let him go to any of the concerts with us and it got to the point where he said "it's the concerts or me" and I became a "groupie" and Chuck and I were over.
Then on November 13th 2005 Joseph Washington walked into my life, I feel head over heels in love with this man, now we have a 3 year old little boy together and our 4th AND 5th anniversary is approaching, on November 13th we will have been together for 5 years and married for 4 years on the same day. I am happy with my life and wouldn't change ONE thing that I have done.
