Apparently Food Network Magazine once voted Marston's as the Best Breakfast in California. If that's what you're expecting, you're going to be thoroughly disappointed. None of the food really stood out, but the service was good. Don't be beguiled by the French Toast food porn. Covered and fried with corn flakes, it might be Fantastic (as the menu so proclaims), it is definitely not "four slices good," unless of course, you're looking for a heart attack on the side of your breakfast. If you do want to try it, I suggest you order the off-the-menu secret side order of french toast, which comes with 1 slice for $2.50. The Eggs Benedict was decent, but nothing spectacular, though it did come with a side of bland breakfast potatoes. Mimosas are also offered off-the-menu for $7.50. Come any later than 9:30, and you might be waiting a while for your mediocre food!

The french toast lives up to the hype. The coffee is good, as are the pancakes. I had a Reuben one time which was just not very good, but the wait staff didn't charge for it and brought me french toast to make up for it! One star off for the inevitable long wait and ridiculous parking lot.

One of my go to places for breakfast. Try their "The Works" French toast. Fresh berries, candied pecans, and of course shipped cream. Too much for me but my friends all loved them. I stuck with with their Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich.

Awesome food, fantastic service, and reasonable prices!! Onion rings were wonderful - light and crisp with a tasty sauce - and the beef tacos had a superb flavor. Our attentive server gave great recommendations and was patient with out squarely 8yo. This is THE place for a relaxed terrific meal!!

French toast is a bit of a mouth full but delicious every time. Not something you want to try too often but worth it when you do. The wait and parking are a bit absurd but if you can manage both then you'll be on for a treat.

Nevertheless, we decided on Griddle Fresh, which I was initially unhappy about due to my extreme dislike of waiting. We wrote our name on the list and sat down on a bench inside, but that got old quickly, as we were seated next to the wait-list which was hung on a clipboard that most patrons subsequent to us acted as though they had never seen before--examining its contents as though that would somehow decrease the length of the wait. I suggested we go get a Starbucks and wait. That also got old quickly, but: (1) at least you can wait fully caffeinated; and (2) there is shade so you do not suffer any sun damage.
