Very nice article from +Natalie Masse Hooper  on Analytics for #Android  developers.
When you launch an app or update, you often hope to get new users and/or more revenue. Google Play Developer Console keeps track of those metrics for you, but whether you see numbers you like or dislike, you don't know much about what drives them. Analytics, which I'm using in the general sense ...

Awesomely helpful guidance and tooling for building modern, multi-device, responsive web apps.

Thrilled to announce Web Starter Kit - a new starting point for multi-device web development

I've been working on this for the past few months with +Sindre Sorhus, +Stephen Sawchuk, +Matt Gaunt+Pascal Hartig and the team behind Google Web Fundamentals. We'd love to get your feedback on it.

Honored to share the stage with +Mandy Waite  and looking forward to showing off a new demo, which highlights Compute Engine's awesome performance.

Presenting on Compute Engine Clusters today at Velocity Conf Europe in London. Special guest star is +Marc Cohen who's our head of Compute DevRel. Talk is at 11:20, office hours at 12:30, but feel free to just grab me if you see me there.

I love when a popular song gets reworked with an acoustic arrangement. Here's Bon Jovi performing a lovely, down-tempo version of "It's My Life" with help from two guests from the All American Rejects.

I've read it. It's good. My only wish is that it would use Go over Python. Google needs to put out more Google Cloud+Go books.

Yes, it's part of the London Walks (http://www.walks.com/) series. Search their tours for Banksy.

Wonderful performance of a tender song, with a nice bit of audience participation added.

Had a great time, as always, sharing the stage in London and Prague (where this was recorded) with the multi-talented +Mandy Waite.

+Marc Cohen and I gave this talk at DevFest Praha on Saturday.  My first bit is an overview of Compute Engine and the meat of the talk starts at 12:00 when Marc takes over and talks about Cluster Management.

You should be hearing more now - GCE went general availability and there was a ton of press and blog coverage today. :)

Nice collection of sample apps illustrating how to use Google Cloud Endpoints, which is a great way to provide API services from App Engine to mobile and web clients (courtesy of +Dan Holevoet and +Paul Rashidi).

+Paul Rashidi and I have been working hard on more getting started examples for Google Cloud Endpoints.

The original example (a TicTacToe app) includes a lot of complexity around actually playing a game, which can get in the way when you're trying to figure out what Endpoints does. The simpler example "Hello Endpoints" tries to be as bare-bones as possible. Check out the following GitHub projects for the code:

Java backend + web client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-java-maven
Python backend + web client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-python
Android client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-android
iOS client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-ios

Enjoy!

Introduction
I manage Google's Developer Relations team in Seattle. We help software developers get the most out of the Google Cloud Platform, with a particular emphasis on Compute Engine and Cloud Storage. In a previous life, I helped design and build communication systems at Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies. When I'm not working, I enjoy indie music and films, writing, teaching, and chess.
