A musical about a gay lizard-scaled superhero cellist. Yeah, it's complicated.

In which I complain about traffic, and  am unimpressed with a play, but still have the opportunity to praise Lester Smith.

So, the big game is tomorrow. But the big question is, what is the narrative surrounding that event?

Here is the original proposal for Stormfront, which could have been a TSR world.
Here's one I've been meaning to post for a while, now. Twenty years ago TSR was looking for a new campaign setting. I proposed one called Storm Front (also called Stormfront) which involved ships sailing on clouds. These ...

In this bright and shiney era of Kickstarter funded roleplaying extravagances, one need not dangle by the bureaucratic whims of a large publishing house - especially if one is fortunate enough to have name recognition of their own... If you want to, this can become a published reality. If you build it they really will come and throw their money at you. I will. ;-)

Substitute Champions for the "experimental" college years (What can I say? I was young and draw to it's mature complexity) and this could almost be my story, but it's really +Christopher Helton's so I'll let him tell it...

It really is a remarkable Class 3000 game design. It's still my go-to for superhero stuff--and I've tried all of the others.
And every time I find a part I don't like, it's a cinch to hack--which is an undervalued quality in an RPG.

Let me expand the signal on this nifty idea!

Humans of the Internet! My friend Matthew Moore (game designer and all around good guy) has a new card game on Kickstarter called "Bring Your Own Book". It's all about digging through a book of your choice to find the best out of context phrase to go with a given prompt. If you like fun (and I know you do) you should really go check it out!

Backing it would be great, re-posting about it would be better, and doing both would clearly mark you as some kind of god-like incarnation of pure fun. So, you know, that's a thing that can happen. Go check it out. Go now!
Matthew Moore is raising funds for Bring Your Own Book, the game of borrowed phrases on Kickstarter! Search through books for text to take way out of context.
