This is happening on OUR WATCH! So the next step is accepting personal responsibility. Find out the who, how and where and rescind the laws that allow this. "All Power to the People" was an excellent and simple expression of basic human rights. If we need this changed, then do what you can for change! Gandhi understood the power of passive resistance & created a country, peacefully!!

I believe much of government is there to keep folks pacified so they don't get into another "let them eat cake" and "off with their heads" situation.

More than pacifying is self interest for power and control. I try to follow the money to see what's really going on.

I think it was Robin Williams that said the only difference between the two parties is how fast they get on their knees in front of their donors. (Oops there's that language issue again;)

Learning is ongoing, and as carnal life continues, we continue to learn.  Once I was told "why we never stop learning".. Simple, this carnal world changes, as all things change in this carnal universe - and as long everything continues to change, we must learn from it, and how it changed, and why.  Anyone that  stops learning at any point of their carnal life ..  has stopped living carnally.  Dan Martin.

"corporations are people, my friends! Money is equal to speech." U.S. Supreme fucking republican court 2014.

Robert Reich
This is no April Fool’s joke. Today, in a 5-4 decision written by Chief Justice John Roberts, the Supreme Court in “McCutcheon vs. Federal Election Commission,” went beyond “Citizen’s United” to strike down overall limits on how much an individual may contribute in one election cycle to innumerable federal candidates and to party committees. Overturning 40 years of national policy and 38 years of judicial precedent, the Court’s decision allows federal officeholders to solicit and individual donors to pour as much as $3.6 million directly into federal campaigns every election cycle – buying unparalleled personal influence in Washington and drowning out the voices of ordinary citizens. (It gives me no satisfaction that I testified against John Roberts at his confirmation hearing years ago.) This is the most brazen invitation to oligarchy in Supreme Court history.
In my view, we must amend the Constitution to establish once and for all that (1) money is not speech under the First Amendment, (2) corporations are not people, and (3) we the people have the right to set limits on how much money individuals and corporations can spend on elections. You with me?

In the process, lets remind the people who made and passed Corporate Laws.  That is where the issue is... Washington and more of the same Washington. The Courts don't make the laws.
