Could Apple's Head mounted display system (Similar to Google Glass?)
be a better design solution?
The patents filed in 2006 are just coming to light now; much to the rage and adding fuel to the fire of the boycott movement that seems to be taking Google+ (and only Google+ at this time) by storm.
In an attempt to stay unbiased; looking at the designs on Patently Apple today you have to wonder how great these devices could be. You could end up having full prescription lenses in these devices and have a HUD over both eyes; allowing for a 3D display through the lenses as well as seeing the outside world with customisable transparency (via the LED brightness).
Could this system be better for some users designed like this than the Google Glass offering?
Are there people that think that Apple are copying Google here even though this patent was filed in 2006?+Mike Elgan
seems to dislike the latest boycott movement here over at CoM:http://www.cultofmac.com/177786/why-the-boycott-apple-movement-is-dumb/
Does raise some valid concerns of today's pitchfork friendly culture
