Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7

I once saw a bumper sticker that said, "Why worry, when you can trust?" Worry or anxiety, is one of the biggest problems that most Christians face. We worry over things that we have no control over. We worry that we will not measure up. We worry about what the future holds. Instead of fretting about what could happen, we need to humbly submit to God's leading, and trust in Him to make things turn out for the best. – Commentary by Mary Frances Morden

Today’s Prayer,
Heavenly Father, we ask that you grant us the faith to hand our worries over to You, and trust in You for the best outcome. Amen.

For the world, so-called “peace of mind” is often associated with a large bank account full of money, an extravagant house, or car sitting in the driveway of the most exclusive subdivision. However, true “peace of mind” comes from the Lord, it is “spiritual.” By this I mean, it is not based on “circumstances” but on the Presence of Christ within us (Phil. 4:4-7). So today try not to let your peace of mind be dictated by your possessions, your status, or even the people around you but by your faith and love for Jesus Christ. – Commentary by Francis Fabregas

Have you ever bought something and then noticed in the retailers next flyer that the item is now on sale? If you're a bargain shopper like me, you know it can be maddening. But fortunately many major retailers will happily offer you a price adjustment within a set period of time.

Wegmans is great in New Jersey but the Short Pump location leaves much to be desired. The staff are very unfriendly. Several staff persons in living management passed me in the store and never said excuse me when walking in front of me while shopping nor did they say hello. I know that this is a new location but some things are just common courtesy. The location is well staffed. Lots of hot food and reheatable food choices for those on the go. The wine and beer section is larger than most supermarkets, but doesn't have as many choices a the stores that specialize in wine and beer like Total Wine. The prices on meats are much higher than the other supermarkets. Some things here cost less while other things cost more ham other supermarkets. You'll need to check your online ads and Sunday circular for the best deals at each supermarket. Hopefully, as time goes on, they'll get the customer service piece down to a science because that's lacking right now.

This school is the bomb dot com. One of the admissions officers, James, gave us a review of what they look for upcoming students, overview of the school, as well as costs. Yes, he answered any questions that we had. Hailey was out your guide for the campus tour and she was from VA just like us. She and my daughter connected during the tour and my daughter was able to ask her various questions during the tour as well as the other students. Be prepared to do a lot of walking on the campus tour, so dress comfortably and wear some comfortable shoes. We happened to tour on a day that the heat index was 121 degrees, but the campus kept us hydrated with cold, bottled water. Honestly, I thought I knew quite a bit about the school. Yet, I learned so much more. Don't count them out because they have a lot to offer for everyone. It's not too small and not too big. A great medium sized campus in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Don't forget to check out Hawk Hill. Most of all, remember that the Hawk never dies!!

Haverford is a nice college. It's very small and close knit. There's a total of 1200 undergraduate students. There are no graduate students. Being said, this gives the undergraduate students to have research opportunities with professors that they wouldn't have if there were graduate students at the school. The school is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia and the faculty live nearby which is great for the students. Housing isn't guaranteed all four years and not all dorms have air conditioning. If you're looking for a college with a small close knit community, then this is a place that should visit to determine if it's a good fit for you.

Great church and church family. Guests are always welcome. I always feel at home here. Lots of activities for the youth and adults to actively participate in the church. If you're looking for a church home, then come to one of the church services. You won't be disappointed.

I'd rate zero stars if possible. The store has an awful smell which made me sick to my stomach. If you're looking for the brands that you purchase at the local supermarkets, then this isn't the place for you. Think back to the foods with the white label and black lettering. This is what's sold here. The fresh fruits aren't fresh. They look like they're about to rot. You need a case quarter to place in the shopping cart to use a cart for shopping. When you return the cart, then you get your quarter back. I remember Aldi from New Jersey when I lived there. The only thing that's changed is the location. Most of their locations are in the poorer neighborhoods, hence the reason for the quarter to use a shopping cart. Otherwise, the patrons would take the carts home etc.

The food is delicious. The grilled salmon with mango salsa is my favorite. Very friendly and professional. They offer catering services. If you need catering services don't hesitate to call them.

There's a little bit of everything here from Best Buy to Target to a variety of restaurants and other shops. Nice to have so many places in one area, so that you don't have to travel far.
