The vision for this event is to be very welcoming to beginners - we want this to be a primarily educational event - as opposed to a more traditional hack-a-thon/startup weekend type event; attendees need NOT have a startup idea they want to execute on.  The focus is on building skills, learning how to develop for these platforms, with less emphasis on a “business competition”.  That said - we want to give people a chance to show off what they have learned and put into practice - so we want to have a demo slot at the end of the event, and give out some prizes for the best efforts.
