What would happen if Google Chrome was supporting TCP Fast Open protocol? According to a research paper from Google, it would decrease HTTP transaction network latency by 15% and whole-page load time over 10% on average, and in some cases up to 40%.
It would be great isn't it?!

We're lucky today because we can now enable TCP Fast Open in chrome://flags in the last chromium build (download-chromium.appspot.com).

The TCP Fast Open protocol enables the option to send some extra authentication information in the initial SYN packet for a previously connected client, allowing faster data send start. And if you're still with me, go learn a lot more about it by reading research.google.com/pubs/pub37517.html and even http://googlecode.blogspot.fr/2012/01/lets-make-tcp-faster.html
