Empty your fridge, wash it down with bleach and get on your knees to pray forgiveness for consumption of pork!!
A new Swine Flu Epidemic, proving, yet again, the consumption of all things Swine is a health risk and puts your immortal soul at risk.

2004 Recoletas Vendimia Seleccionada. Rich boisenberry finish, but ripe fruit with mature with tobacco and spice notes. Solid tannins, moderate carmel sugars and good viscocity. Loved it.

I really try to limit my posts to Wood and Wine, but I have to share this one.
One can only imagine the shenanigans between the political parties will only get worse as the election year grinds on. It was only a commercial for cryin' out loud!

THE RUINS OF DETROIT

All photos by Yves Marchand & Romain Meffre

Detroit, industrial capital of the XXth Century, played a fundamental role shaping the modern world. The logic that created the city also destroyed it. Nowadays, unlike anywhere else, the city’s ruins are not isolated details in the urban environment. They have become a natural component of the landscape. Detroit presents all archetypal buildings of an American city in a state of mummification. Its splendid decaying monuments are, no less than the Pyramids of Egypt, the Coliseum of Rome, or the Acropolis in Athens, remnants of the passing of a great Empire.

The HTC Roller Outfeed for my UniSaw was very easy to install and adjust. Took less than an hour.

Vinum Cab.
Very nice, fruit forward, rich blackberry notes, great viscosity and moderate tannins. Vinum produces tiny batches of wonderful quality wines at a notably reasonable pricepoint!

Shots of my sons first gift projects in the shop.
We ordered kits from Jantz Knife supplies. He finished the quince scales and assembled the parts. Nice gifts for his grandfathers.
