Google+ Lifestreaming: An Epic Adventure Across 15,000km, from Beijing, China, to London, England. - Live on Google+ and Completely On Foot...

Dear Googlers of the World. I need your help.

My name is Michael Lee Johnson and as you may or may not have heard, on Friday July 26th 2013 at 2:15pm, I will be boarding a flight from London to Beijing with the intention of never returning back to the United Kingdom by anything else other than by foot.

15,000km from one side of the world to the other. 3.5 years of continuous walking...(Hopefully I make it back alive)

My entire journey will be tracked via GPS and plotted on to the custom Google maps page on my website. You will be able to see where I am 24/7, whenever you want and whatever the time of day or night. Through the use of 3G networks, multiple wireless HD camera’s and a lightweight laptop, I hope to be able to live stream some of my journey, and produce a micro-documentary about my life on the road.

I am going to be doing Live Google+ Hangouts in every village and city across my journey, sort of bringing you along with me. Cool right?

My entire journey will be fully documented on Google+ for all of my friends to see.

Well guys. I need your help spreading the word about what I am doing. It would be greatly appreciated if you would share this post. The more people that know about my journey the safer I will become.

viewed positively this is an amazing concept, for people who are unable to get out, don't have the ability to walk thousand's of miles and see the world.... you are their champion. It's not for charity that's fine - not EVERYTHING has to be charity led - your voice will be heard and you'll find the right people to speak about along the way... what you are doing is enough to give people a chance to get involved and share your adventure - good on you!

Great. Wishing you all the best and safety and success in your tour around some parts of the world.
