ITINERARY: 

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – ARRIVAL (--/ L/ D)
Upon your arrival at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport you will be picked up and transferred to check into your hotel (early check-in is subject to the hotel’s availability). Being the heart and soul of South Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh is a bustling, dynamic and industrious city. It is not only the largest city but also the economic capital and trendsetter of Vietnam. Spend your stay at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.


DAY 2: HO CHI MINH VESPA  CITY TOUR (B/L/--)
Our Vespa tour of modern-day Ho Chi Minh City will give you a view of greater Saigon unlike anything you'll see from the hot, crowded interior of a tour bus, and much more of the city than you could see on your own. (Note: tour will not take guest inside the buildings)

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (NIGHT ON BASSAC CRUISE) (B/ L/ D)
We leave Ho Chi Minh City for a beautiful scenic drive through the Mekong River Delta, home to the richest agricultural lands in Vietnam. Boarding at Cai Be at noon. Welcome drink, Introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang river. 
Lunch while on route. Rest on the deck. 
The Bassac slips into the Chợ Lách canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches, a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river. The Bassac sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On floating market, for the night. 

DAY 4: CAN THO - HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B/ L/--)
You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho.

Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market and return to the Ninh Kieu pier. Drive to your hotel, check in and your afternoon is free at leisure. Overnight in Can Tho. 

DAY 5: MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B/--/--)
Have breakfast at the hotel then return to Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will be at your disposal until your transfer by private car to Ton Son Nhat Airport for international flights or a domestic extension.

DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI                                                               (--/--/--)                                                                
On your arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will bring you to Hanoi City. Hanoi is over 1000 years old and is currently the capital of Vietnam as well the commercial, political, and cultural heart of the country. Check in hotel and free at leisure. Welcome dinner is served at local restaurant. After that, you are free to explore on your own or take it easy and relax in your hotel room. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR & STREET FOOD    (B/L/D)       
This morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of Vietnam’s founding president, and the Temple of Literature, an 11th century university.  Then stroll Hanoi’s iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and nearby Ngoc Son temple.  After taking a cyclo ride to the city’s bustling old quarter, explore the quarter’s narrow streets at your leisure.

Late this afternoon begin your adventure into the world of street food. Begin by sampling the local brew, “bia hoi,” an extra-carbonated draft beer that traces its roots to Eastern Europe. Continue through the bustling old quarter as your guide describes what’s on offer at local stalls. Then feast on Vietnamese flame grilled barbecue of meats, tofu and vegetables on skewers. End the night with a walk around the lake and dessert at Hanoi’s most famous ice cream parlour.

Please note: The Ho Chi Minh Masoleum is closed afternoons and all day Monday and Friday. And in case of heavy rain the itinerary may be altered to visit a covered local noodle stall.

DAY 3: HANOI – NINH BINH (VISIT TAM COC, BICH DONG & HOA LU) (B/ L/ D)
Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well seeing the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi.

We will go for a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and mountains leading to the beautiful and mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle ride (4km) and boat ride to Bich Dong Cave and Pagoda. This journey takes you through breath taking scenery of rice fields and imposing mountains. We will have lunch in the local restaurant. 
Have a visit to Thai Vy Temple then head off to Hoa Lu, formally the capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and 11th centuries.  Spend your night at hotel in Ninh Binh.

DAY 4: NINH BINH – HALONG – NIGHT ON JUNK     (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, we drive to Ha Long Bay, one of the most beautiful places in Southeast Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The day starts with a leisure boat ride through the breathtaking Ha Long Bay where you will see mountainous rock formations reaching majestically out of the water. Lunch will be served onboard while cruising to Bai Tu Long Bay, Teapot Islet, Blockhouse Islet, and Goat Head Islet. Fresh local seafood will be served in the characteristically delicious style of the Vietnamese. 

We will explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay before heading for the beautiful beach where you can enjoy swimming & kayaking in the bay. Later we will head back to the boat to enjoy a beautiful sunset while cruising to the Hang Trong area to anchor at Ho Dong Tien, near Trong cave. During the evening, relax to the casual and comfortable atmosphere on the luxury boat where you will have an elegant dining experience. If we are in the right season, we can see fresh squid being caught the traditional way. 

You can then relax under the clear, starry sky, enjoying the peace and quiet of the Bay before retiring to your cabin for the night.

DAY 5: HALONG BAY – HANOI – DA NANG ARRIVAL – HOI AN   (B/ L/--)
After breakfast, we will continue to cruise through the karsts some of which display fantastic and mystical shapes before getting into a small boat to visit the Luon Cave. Back on board for an early lunch before saying goodbye to our boat and crew and heading back on the road to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) for your departure flight to Da Nang. 

On your arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will take you to Hoi An, another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. After checking into the hotel if the room available (the check-in time will be at 14h), you have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Halong – Hanoi (200km): 3 hours 30 minutes  
Danang airport – Hoi An (40Km) : 50 minutes

DAY 6: HOI AN WITH TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE (B/L/D)
After breakfast. You will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join in with the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. The experience includes raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking the vegetables as well many other gardening activities.
After this, you will take a short rest and enjoy a footbath before helping to prepare lunch with a local family. The lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘Tam huu’ spring roll, Banh Xeo or local pancake of the people in the middle region of Vietnam. 
After your morning excursion and your lunch, you will take a Vietnamese traditional post-lunch nap before learning how to harvest and wrap vegetables. 
Around 14:00 bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An. Free time for relaxing at your hotel. 

DAY 7: HOI AN - HUE (B/L/--)
You will take a half-day tour of this beautiful ancient town with the visit to the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the old family houses all of which have been sensitively preserved. Transfer to Lang Co Beach for Lunch. 

Arrive in Hue late in the afternoon and transfer to hotel. Spend your night at Hue city.

DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR WITH CYCLO EXPERIENCE (B/L/--)
Morning: our Cyclo team will pick you up from your hotel and take a circle tour around Imperial city. Check out at the central Flag tower, then take a walking tour to discover Imperial & Forbidden city with: South Gate, Thai Hoa Harmony Supreme, the Royal Theater, The Mieu Temple, Nine Dynasty Urns…Continue with Cyclo tour to Thien Mu Pagoda (namely Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda), also known as Linh Mu Pagoda, is one of the most fascinating and ancient pagoda in Hue city. Return to the city by Dragon boat trip before transferring to Local restaurant for having lunch. 

Afternoon:  this afternoon tour will gives you a deep understanding about King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life. Visit tomb of Emperor Tu Duc - not only one of the most beautiful works of the Nguyen dynasty, but it is also romantic scenery of mounts and lakes. After that Continue to visit Khai Đinh's tomb, the tomb has many elements of Western architecture. In fact, of all the tombs, Khai Dinh's probably least resembles oriental architecture. The tour finished at your hotel. 


DAY 9: HUE – HO CHI MINH (B/--/--)
After having breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out (the check-out time is at noon). Take the transfer to Hue  Airport for the departure flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

In the afternoon, the HCM tour starts with a visit to the imposing Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat). Pass by classic European-style landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (hotel de ville). Next we will go to the Notre Dame Cathedral, the most famous landmark in Vietnam as the twin bell towers can be seen from a long distance. In the same square is the famous Saigon Post Office, the largest functioning post office in Vietnam. What makes this Post Office so extraordinary is that it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel who also designed and built the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty. It is a building not to be missed. 

Afterwards dive into modern history with a tour of the Reunification Palace. Formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, this 60s style uwas famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975 signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state, and the original tanks remain on display near the entrance gates. Continue to the harrowing War remnants museum, which comprehensively documents the travails of the long Vietnam- American War. Inside are detailed photographic exhibitions; outside is a collection of tanks, planes and weapons. A powerful experience, this museum is guaranteed to provoke strong emotions. Dinner at the local restaurant and spend your stay at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS (B/ L/ D)

After breakfast, you will take the drive to the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City for a visit to the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels, a well-known historical vestige of the Vietnamese revolution. As a distinctive architecture, this cobweb-like tunnel complex is a network of underground dug-outs of over 200 kilometers long, consisting of many layers and turnings with meeting, living and fighting quarters where we learn the first hand how the Viet Cong survived the extraordinary underground existence during the Vietnam War.

In the afternoon, we head out to Cho Lon (Chinatown). Explore the highlights of this fascinating area, beginning with a brief visit to Binh Tay Market, the vast wholesale market selling every kind of goods. Continue to visit Thien Hau Temple, build by the Cantonese congregation and dedicated to the heavenly goddess. End your tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.  

Dinner is served on a boat floating on the Saigon River. Free at leisure and spend the night at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 11: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
Afer breakfast, Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Mekong Delta. visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables by the luxury boat of Mekong Travel 

Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn ... 
It is so interesting to visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make some special products: making rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce & Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof...

The best lunch will be served at local house 

After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.. 

Then, we visit nursery garden for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger or his son who is very successful in Vietnam agriculture.

Have some fruits and tea when enjoying the  traditional music at Ut Trinh home.
Check in Ut Trinh homestay (or other home-stay on An Binh Island). 
One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta.. 

Cooking some dishes with the owners. We enjoy diner and have cup of tea or rice wine when talking together. You can ask the locals about the culture, people, history of this Island. They do not mind to answer some personal questions. Overnight in a private room of local house

DAY 12: MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE (B/L/--)
Have a breakfast and walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning
Boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. 

Our boat will go along the floating village. We will learn how to farm catfish on Mekong river  
We can visit Vinhlong market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables...The cruise will end at Vinh Long city. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Take the transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the departure flight. End of service.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL SIEM RIEP (//)

DAY 2: SIEM REAP (B/L/-)                                                                                                  
Breakfast in hotel, this morning, we enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. 
In afternoon, we visit the famous Angkor Wat, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation. In the evening, enjoy the super view of sunset from Pre Rup temple/Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 3: FREE (B/L/--)

DAY 5: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/ L/--)
A city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside), His House on-stilts,  One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature - built in October 1073 to worship Confucius and considered to be the first university in Vietnam. 

After lunch time, we will then drive to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will see Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao, a former general commander. Later in the afternoon, you will get a chance to enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride around the 36 streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi followed by the dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 6: HANOI – HALONG – NIGHT ON JUNK (B/ L/ D)
We leave Hanoi in morning and travel to the astonishing and mystical Ha Long Bay which is described by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and is one of the most beautiful places in the region. Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, it is an spectacular collection of 2,000 islands covering an area in excess of 1,500km. This forms a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars and cliff faces.  Our crew will welcome you on board with drinks and a fresh seafood lunch. You will check into your cabins and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing rock formations (karsts). You will cruise towards Bai Tu Long Bay, passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village.

We will explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave which is one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. Later on, you will have plenty of time for swimming and kayaking to the Tunnel Cave. After breakfast, we will continue to cruise through the karsts some of which display fantastic and mystical shapes before getting into a small boat to visit the Luon Cave. Back on board for an early lunch before saying goodbye to our boat and crew and heading back on the road to Noi Bai airport to catch your next flight to Da Nang. 

On your arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will take you to Hoi An, another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. After checking into the hotel if the room available (the check-in time will be at 14h), 
You will take a half-day tour of this beautiful ancient town with the visit to the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the old family houses all of which have been sensitively preserved. Free at leisure or discover the ancient town sparkled by lanterns at night. Spend the night in Hoi An.

DAY 8: HOI AN (B/ L/--)

Today we enjoy a walking tour through the narrow and ancient streets of this charming town. Perhaps more than any other place in Vietnam, Hoi An retains the feel of centuries past. Once known as Faifo, Hoi An was an influential port along the Silk Road. For over 500 years, merchants from China, Japan, France and Portugal settled in the prosperous town resulting in a distinctive blend of culture, cuisine, religions and architecture. In 1999, the town was declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site listed for having the most unique architecture in Southeast Asia. It has been restored and protected by both the UNESCO funding and proud locals ever since. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. 

DAY 9: HOI AN – HUE (B/--/--)
Free time at Leisure

Transfer out of Hoi An to Hue City; you will go through the beautiful and famous summit of Hai Van Pass  &  Lang Co Beach. Upon arrival in Hue, Check in your hotel, spend your night in Hue. 

DAY 10: HUE CITY TOUR (B/ L/--)
Morning: 8:00 AM, Our guide and driver pick you up at your hotel. Our first stop today will be Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people. After that take a Boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda – A historic pagoda on the banks of the Perfume River in Hue, Vietnam. Apart from their scenic riverside and hilltop location, the Thien Mu Pagoda and its environs are also rich in history, standing witness to almost four hundred years of tumultuous nation-building in Vietnam. Transfer back to the center of  Hué city. The massive Kinh Thanh Citadel is the most well known and iconic site in Hué. Begun in 1805 by Emperor Gia Long, it is actually a sprawling complex comprised of the Imperial City, several museums, lakes, and lovely gardens, all laid out in a series of concentric circles. We also visit the Forbidden Purple City, originally built in the early 1800s for the personal use of the emperor and staffed by eunuchs who posed no threat to the royal concubines. Our last stop this morning is Hue Royal Antiques Museum – A collection of ornaments from the Nguyen dynasty. 

Have Lunch at Moc Vien  - Garden Restaurant

Afternoon: Visit Tu Duc Tomb  - one of the most beautiful tombs of royal architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The surrounding wall inside the tomb has 12 hectares width and interior tomb has nearly 50 constructions with various levels. Then visit some traditional Incense villages where you may try to make some incense by yourselves.  Last stop today will be Khai Dinh Tomb that may be symptomatic of the decline of Vietnamese culture during the colonial era. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, the grandiose concrete structure, built between 1920 and 1931, is a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stone faces of the mandarin honor guards are endowed with a mixture of both features. The tour finished at your hotel. 

DAY 11: HUE  HO CHI MINH CITY (B/ L/--)
After breakfast, free time at leisure then we leave Central Vietnam and head for the more fast-paced modernized city of Ho Chi Minh City, formally known as “Saigon”. We drive back to Da Nang to catch the flight to Ho Chi Minh where you will be picked up and brought to check into your hotel. 

The HCM half day  tour starts with a visit to the imposing Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat). Next we will go to the Notre Dame Cathedral, the most famous landmark in Vietnam as the twin bell towers can be seen from a long distance. In the same square is the famous Saigon Post Office, the largest functioning post office in Vietnam. What makes this Post Office so extraordinary is that it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel who also designed and built the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty. It is a building not to be missed. 

After some history and culture, we will take you to do some shopping at the Ben Thanh Market. The rest of the night is yours to venture out on your own or take it easy and relax in your hotel room. 

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS (B/ L/ --)

After breakfast, you will take the drive to the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City for a visit to the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels, a well-known historical vestige of the Vietnamese revolution. As a distinctive architecture, this cobweb-like tunnel complex is a network of underground dug-outs of over 200 kilometers long, consisting of many layers and turnings with meeting, living and fighting quarters where we learn the first hand how the Viet Cong survived the extraordinary underground existence during the Vietnam War.

Free at leisure and spend the night at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.


DAY 13: HCM CITY – VINH LONG – HCM CITY (B/ L/--)
We leave Ho Chi Minh City for a beautiful scenic drive through the Mekong River Delta, home to the richest agricultural lands in Vietnam. Enjoy a boat trip to an island that houses orchard gardens and the beautiful Cai Be floating market, a famous place in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Be floating market is a magnificent site to see as hundreds of small merchant boats anchor alongside the banks of the river trading their commodities. We continue with our cruise through the maze of canals that crisscross around An Binh island. 

Lunch is served at Mr. Muoi Huong old house or at Ut Trinh Homestay. We can enjoy the delicious fresh tropical fruits of the Delta as we continue to cruise through islands and cross the Mekong River to Vinh Long (2km). On our way back to Ho Chi Minh City, we will visit the bonsai garden. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant. You will spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 14: HCM CITY – DEPARTURE - (B/--/--)
After breakfast, it is time to go to the airport to catch the flight back home. End of services.

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL - FOOD ON FOOT TOUR (--/--/D)
Welcome pick up at the airport then escort to hotel for check in with free time. Late afternoon our guide will meet you up at your hotel to start Food tour, you are walking in Hanoi Old Quarter to sample feature, authentic food and drink within 3 hours or longer

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L/--)
A city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside), His House on-stilts,  One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature - built in October 1073 to worship Confucius and considered to be the first university in Vietnam. 

After lunch time, we will then drive to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will see Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao, a former general commander. Later in the afternoon, you will get a chance to enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride around the 36 streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HA NOI - CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Have breakfast then drive for 3 hours to Cuc Phuong national park in Ninh Binh province.  Visit the Primate Rescue Center. Check in the Guest house in the park. Have lunch. 
After lunch, we drive 20km inside the park to Bong Station then do trekking 6km through the rain forest to visit the Giant Thousand Year Old Tree. Back to the brick house. Free time at night.

DAY 4: CUC PHUONG – BAI DINH – TRANG AN (B/L/--)
After breakfast at the guest house, drive an hour to Bai Dinh pagoda & Trang An ecosystem. We spend time to visit Trang An tourist attraction nearby, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel

Continue to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight. Relax and overnight in Hotel 

DAY 5: NINH BINH - HALONG BAY- OVERNIGHT ON THE CRUISE (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive 170km to Halong city. The drive is long and roads are bumpy at times, but it is still a memorable experience. A part of the pleasure of traveling in this region is the simple joy of seeing the spectacular rural landscape the smiling faces of the people. Check in you cabin on the cruise  and enjoy the stunning of Ha Long bay and other activities. The lunch & dinner will be served on cruise. Overnight on Junk boat.

DAY 6: HALONG BAY – HANOI – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO DONG HOI (B/BRUNCH/--)
Continue sailing around Ha Long bay, visiting Amazing cave, Floating village. The breakfast & lunch is served then back to the pier at around 11.00-11.30. Driving the same road back Hanoi rail-way station to catch night train to Dong Hoi. Overnight on train

DAY 7: DONG HOI - PHONG NHA – LEISURE DISCOVER (B/L/--)
On your arrival at Dong Hoi railway station, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will bring you to restaurant for breakfast. Then transfer to Phong Nha home stay for checking in. you are free to walk around the village, chat with local people to learn about the local fife here. Or simply relaxing to welcome the day of Cave discovering adventure tomorrow. 

DAY 8: TU LAN CAVE (B/L/D)
You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Phong Nha between 8:00 am and 8:30 am with your tour guide in tow, where it’s then off to travel back in time to the tiny village of Tan Hoa. A thorough safety briefing starts the tour, and then it’s a 2.5 km stroll across öelds of peanuts, corn, and muddy water buffaloes. 

A rocky climb leads up to the örst cave, Hang Chuot (Rat Cave), and after light exploration (300 m) there is a picnic lunch, followed by some steep climbing (60 m) and then a relaxing break at a scenic outlook on the jungle path. After a trek across the valley floor, Hung Ton Dry Cave is the next adventure on the list, followed by a full afternoon relaxing and swimming at the To Mo campsite waterfall. Enjoy dinner together, stories around the campfire, and a good night’s sleep in hammocks strung up beside the beautiful waterfall.

DAY 9: TU LAN CAVE – PHONG NHA (B/L/--)
After gaining energy from a big breakfast, a 450 m swim inside Kim Cave awaits, complete with small waterfalls inside. Return to camp for more swimming in the lagoon or a rest, while lunch is prepared. After lunch, it’s time to gear up for the last swim through Hung Ton Wet Cave (200 m), and then a hike into Hung Ton Valley. Follow the river through the valley (500 m) and climb the mountain to Secret Cave (50 m). Squeeze through the entrance to explore what lies ahead in this mysterious cave (100 m). The adventure winds down with the climb down from Secret Cave, and the walk back (2.5 km) to cross the Rao Nan river and buffalo fields  buffalo fields to reach the Tan Hoa headquarters.

Arrival in Tan Hoa is followed by a chance to take in the scenery and relax with a cold drink in hand.
Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha is at around 4 pm, with arrival in Phong Nha by 5:30 pm.

DAY 10: PHONG NHA – VINH MOC – HUE – FOOD TOUR AT NIGHT BY CYCLO (B/L/D)
After breakfast, Leave Phong Nha cave for Hue. On the way stop to visit Vinh Moc Tunnels  and Ben Hai river , where was the boundary between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. And finally we will head further south to Hue City where you will spend the night.
Lunch will be serviced at local restaurant in Hue, check in your hotel and spend your rest day at hotel. 
Late afternoon, you will have chance to enjoy the Hue local foods by take and food tour with your guide on Cyclo. Overnight in Hue

DAY 11: HUE BIKING TOUR (B/L/--)
After breakfast, get started biking to the villages, on the green shaded roads, passing by the communal houses along the rivers, canals and thru’ the rice fields to head Thanh Toan bridge, Agricultural museum, walk around the village to see local market. Keep moving by biking to Khai Dinh Tomb - that may be symptomatic of the decline of Vietnamese culture during the colonial era. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, the grandiose concrete structure, built between 1920 and 1931, is a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. After lunch, cycle to The Citadel Complex of Hue, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one among the relics of the Hue ancient Capital – the World Cultural Heritage. 
The next stop is Thien Mu Pagoda Built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest is one of the oldest and prettiest pagodas in the country.  Take a nice dragon boat trip on Perfume River. Biking back to Hotel. Overnight in Hue. 

DAY 12: HUE – TAM GIANG LAGOON ADVENTURE (B/L/--)
Our morning starts with bright smiles of our enthusiastic motorbike team and tour guide who will take you to
+ "Thanh Toan's tiled-roof", one of oldest bridge in Vietnam with similar architecture with Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An.
+ An Bang ghost city where thousands of enormous colorful tombs are located. You will experience how important worship plays its role in Vietnamese lives.
+ Mr. Nghiem's house, a friendly local family where you also enjoy seasonal fruits prepared by them
+ Tuy Van Mountain where sacred Thanh Duyen pagoda is located. The cruise will go into the inner of Tam Giang with spectacular views of ranges of mountains surrounding blue water.
+ "Mam ro factory" owned by an old lady and she passed down onto her children to preserve the traditional occupation.

Our stop for lunch and swimming will be at Vinh Hien beach with clean water and wild views. Fresh seafood will also be served for your cuisine's experience in Central of Vietnam. Then our motorbike team with take you to the car for transferring to Hoi An. After checking hotel, free at leisure or discover the ancient town sparkled by lanterns at night. Spend the night in Hoi An.

DAY 13: HOI AN -  TRA QUE VILLAGE (B/L/--)
After breakfast, You will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join in with the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. The experience includes raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking the vegetables as well many other gardening activities.

After this, you will take a short rest and enjoy a footbath before helping to prepare lunch with a local family. The lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘Tam huu’ spring roll, Banh Xeo or local pancake of the people in the middle region of Vietnam. 

After your morning excursion and your lunch, you will take a Vietnamese traditional post-lunch nap before learning how to harvest and wrap vegetables. 

Around 14:00 bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An. Take a walking tour to visit Hoi An’s Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, a handicraft workshop and of course the Japanese Covered Bridge and back to your hotel. 

DAY 14: HOI AN – BHO HOONG (B/L/D)
Leave Hoi An, Our next stop is Bho Hoong, a traditional Co Tu village where we will stay for the night. Little has changed in the past hundred years in Bho Hoong and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Central Vietnam.

A light village walk, guided by a local resident, allows us to explore the village and unlock its cultural secrets.  After our walk, we are free to enjoy a refreshing dip in the river.

DAY 15: BHO HOONG (B/L/D)
In the morning, wake up to the sounds of the village coming to life. Enjoy breakfast and a hot cup of coffee as you watch the morning activities of the Co Tu, heading to the fields and preparing the days meals.   Today is yours to enjoy, immerse among the culture and life.  After breakfast, you can take a full day trek to mountain waterfalls and explore parts of Ho Chi Minh Trail system by foot.  If that is not for you, a mountain bike ride through the country side and villages could be more to your liking.    If heading out of the road is more your style, we will set off to another ethnic minority town, visiting small villages along the way exploring and enjoying local food,  learning about the differences of each village and culture from one village to the next.  Or you can simply spend the day in the village relaxing in the river!  

DAY 16: BHO HOONG DEPARTURE (B/--/--)
After having breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out (the check-out time is at noon). Take the transfer to Da Nang Airport for the departure flight. End of service.

VIET NAM – LAOS 14 DAYS 13 NIGHTS

Visit: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta – Hoi An – Hue – Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay – Luang Prabang. 

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – ARRIVAL (--/--/--)

Upon your arrival at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to check into your hotel (early check-in is subject to the hotel’s availability). Being the heart and soul of South Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh is a bustling, dynamic and industrious city. It is not only the largest city but also the economic capital and trendsetter of Vietnam. Spend your stay at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS (B/ L/--)

After breakfast, you will take the drive to the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City for a visit to the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels, a well-known historical vestige of the Vietnamese revolution. As a distinctive architecture, this cobweb-like tunnel complex is a network of underground dug-outs of over 200 kilometers long, consisting of many layers and turnings with meeting, living and fighting quarters where we learn the first hand how the Viet Cong survived the extraordinary underground existence during the Vietnam War.

In the afternoon, we head out to Cho Lon (Chinatown). Explore the highlights of this fascinating area, beginning with a brief visit to Binh Tay Market, the vast wholesale market selling every kind of goods. Continue to visit Thien Hau Temple, build by the Cantonese congregation and dedicated to the heavenly goddess. End your tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.  

Free at leisure and spend the night at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/ L/--)

We leave Ho Chi Minh City for a beautiful scenic drive through the Mekong River Delta, home to the richest agricultural lands in Vietnam. Enjoy a boat trip to an island that houses orchard gardens and the beautiful Cai Be floating market, a famous place in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Be floating market is a magnificent site to see as hundreds of small merchant boats anchor alongside the banks of the river trading their commodities. We continue with our cruise through the maze of canals that crisscross around An Binh island. 

Lunch is served at the old house. We can enjoy the delicious fresh tropical fruits of the Delta as we continue to cruise through islands and cross the Mekong River to Vinh Long (2km). On our way back to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy dinner with delicious dishes at the local restaurant. Spend the night at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B/--/--)
After having breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out (the check-out time is at noon). Take the transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the departure flight to Da Nang. 

On your arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will take you to Hoi An, another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. After checking into the hotel if the room available (the check-in time will be at 14h), you have the rest of the day at your leisure. 

DAY 5 : HALF-DAY HOI AN TOUR (B/ L/--)
Today offers a half day tour of this beautiful and ancient town. Hoi An comes to life and offers tourists a chance to go shopping and relax at some of the local restaurants. In the morning, we will take a casual walk to tour the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the old family houses all of which have been sensitively preserved. 
Free at leisure or go shopping in the afternoon. You will have dinner and spend the night in Hoi An.

DAY 6 : HOI AN – HUE – HALF-DAY CITY TOUR  (B/ L/--)
Transfer out of Hoi An to Hue City; you will go through the beautiful and famous summit of Hai Van Pass  &  Lang Co Beach. Upon arrival in Hue, drive to visit the beautiful Imperial Citadel, a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1993. Here we will see the Imperial City and Forbidden City, the home of previous Emperors. Enjoy the various palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences, colleges, Flag Tower and Noon Gate. After the Citadel, we go to the Truong Tien Bridge and traditional Dong Ba Market which is rarely seen anywhere in the world. The Dong Ba Market is a typical market of centuries ago where vendors sprawl their goods out for you where you can walk and select the items you want. You will stay the rest of the night in Hue.

DAY 7: AM - HALF-DAY CITY TOUR IN HUE – PM: HUE AIRPORT SEE-OFF (B/ L/--)
We spend the day exploring ancient Hue and finding its beauties and marvels. We first start off by taking a boat trip down the romantic Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most beautiful pagodas in Hue. After that we move on to see the Khai Dinh Tomb.
After having lunch at local restaurant, you are free to go shopping till time to catch your flight to Ha Noi

On your arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will bring you to Hanoi City. Hanoi is over 1000 years old and is currently the capital of Vietnam as well the commercial, political, and cultural heart of the country. Check in hotel and free at leisure. Welcome dinner is served at local restaurant. After that, you are free to explore on your own or take it easy and relax in your hotel room. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 8: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/ L/--)

A city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside), His House on-stilts,  One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature - built in October 1073 to worship Confucius and considered to be the first university in Vietnam. 

After lunch time, we will then drive to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will see Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao, a former general commander. Later in the afternoon, you will get a chance to enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride around the 36 streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi followed by the dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 9: HANOI – HALONG – NIGHT ON JUNK (B/ L/ D)

We leave Hanoi in morning and travel to the astonishing and mystical Ha Long Bay which is described by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and is one of the most beautiful places in the region. Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, it is an spectacular collection of 2,000 islands covering an area in excess of 1,500km. This forms a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars and cliff faces.  Our crew will welcome you on board with drinks and a fresh seafood lunch. You will check into your cabins and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing rock formations (karsts). You will cruise towards Bai Tu Long Bay, passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village.

We will explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave which is one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. Later on, you will have plenty of time for swimming and kayaking to the Tunnel Cave. During the evening, relax to the casual and comfortable atmosphere held on the boat where you will have an elegant dining experience. If we are in the right season, we can see fresh squid being caught the traditional way. Get your cameras ready for a spectacular sunset, lounge under the clear, star filled sky and retire to your cabin at your leisure where you will spend the night on board near a remote island.
Overnight on board.

DAY 10: HALONG BAY – HANOI  (B/BRUNCH/--)

After breakfast, we will continue to cruise through the karsts some of which display fantastic and mystical shapes before getting into a small boat to visit the Luon Cave. Back on board for an early lunch before saying goodbye to our boat and crew and heading back on the road to Ha Noi. Check in your spend one more night in Ha Noi. 


DAY 11: HANOI – LUANG PRABANG (B/--/--) 
After having breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out (the check-out time is at noon). Take the transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the departure flight to Luang Prabang. 
Meet upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for check in.
Overnight in Luang Prabang

DAY 12: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVE (B/L/--) 
After breakfast, visit the Wat Xieng thong, the most beautiful Temple in Luang Prabang, Then take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise upstream the Mekong River towards Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine distillation can be seen.
Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional Sa paper is also produced.  
Overnight in Luang Prabang

DAY 13: LUANG PRABANG – KUANGSI WATERFALL – ELEPHANT RIDE (B/L/--) 
For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the monks collecting the alms. As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents. It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people. Walk to Morning Market where you can find all kinds of ingredients for local food. If you’re lucky, you will have chance to see Mekong Giant fish. Return to your hotel for breakfast. 

Visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace which houses the collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha statue, gifts received from foreign dignitaries…, Visit Wat Mai and Phousi Hill. 

We then transfer through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Along the way by the Mekong River you will see gorgeous landscapes of many rice fields, hills and villages. You will visit an ethnic minority at a village where their local culture has remained unchanged for centuries, we make a stop Elephant conservation/ camp at Ban Muang Kai, you will enjoy Elephant ride for 1:30hours by over loking Mekong river and rice field. After that, we continue driver to KhaungSi waterfall. Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfalls, relax and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings. Afterwards we return to the Luang Prabang and free at leisure. 
Overnight in Luang Prabang

DAY 14: LUANG PRABANG – DEPARTURE (B/--/--)
Breakfast at your hotel and be free at leisure to explore the town by yourself until being transferred to the airport for your departure flight. End of services.
