In ICANN's latest Response to Procedural Order 8 in the Dot Registry v. ICANN Independent Review Process (page 3), ICANN made the following statement:

"ICANN was not required to establish any internal corporate accountability mechanism, but it chose to do so voluntarily."

Picking and choosing what you want to be accountable and transparent about is not true accountability or transparency. As the sole Internet Regulator, ICANN needs full, not select, accountability and transparency.
