We are saddened to learn that yesterday the Fort Peck Indian Tribe has adopted a discriminatory bathroom policy that mirrors policies in place in North Carolina!
These bathroom bills benefit no one and harm individuals of gender diversity. Help us send a clear message that bills and policies such as this are in fact discriminatory and extremely harmful.

The University of Montana and the Montana state public health department are interested in whether sex education classes are providing LBGTQI+ (sexual and gender minority) students with the information and skills they need to stay safe and healthy.

If you consider yourself to be part of the sexual and/or gender minority community, are between the ages of 18 and 24, and attended a high school in Montana we need your input.

International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual holiday occurring on March 31 dedicated to celebrating transgender, gender diverse and gender non-conforming people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by gender diverse people worldwide.

This is a day to celebrate trans* and gender diverse individuals, to recognize everyone in our community for their perserverence, strength, support and lives.

Its a time for our community to speak, to be visibile, to express themselves and to celebrate life.

We will be hosting an art experience at BASE Missoula with mixed media forms of art and self epression, including spoken word, poetry, mixed media art and various other forms of self expression. Food and drink will be provided.

More details about other events happening during this important day are soon to come.

These troubling findings are one of the main reasons the Gender Expansion Project does trans* health education for providers across the rural northwest!
The fact that 30 percent of endocrinologists won't see transgender patients wouldn’t happen with any other diagnosis.
This needs to change and we need your help to make change happen.
If you know of a medical program, group of providers, a clinic or anyone in the mental health, medical, care or advocacy community that would be interested in learning more about how to competently and adequately serve trans* and gender diverse individuals, please encourage them to reach out to the Gender Expansion Project

Its awesome that Lilly Wachowski is able to be her authentic self today, however, she should not have been forced to disclose her transgender identity before she was ready to do so.

Journalists must learn that it is unacceptable to out a transgender person, in the same way it is unacceptable to out a person who is gay, lesbian, or bisexual!
