Thank you +Eric Curts from Vermont ! This is exciting.
The wide adoption of Chromebooks in our state has stalled many of our Google Earth projects... I think this will make them come back to life!

This is one of the most exciting piece of ed tech news I've heard lately. Thanks +Eric Curts for being so quick to create a resource on New Google Earth. I can't wait to see what +Jerome Burg does next with new Google Earth.

I wondered how Eric Curts was going to get Google slides to move fast enough to work as Stop Motion Animation. Why did I not think of changing the URL of the published slideshow !! Brilliant !

Asking my grad students to share their experience with digital portfolios lead me down memory lane about the journey blogs played in my practice as an educator, especially in shaping my pedagogical beliefs about digital portfolios. Who remembers XANGA or when LIVE JOURNAL came on the scene! Following in the footsteps of Guy Kawasaki, I chose Typepad as my first blog portfolio.

Just 1 day left to meet its goal -If you support arts in education, can you help or reshare. Music Comp is an AMAZING program where Students write new compositions, receive professional composer mentoring, and finally hear their music composition performed at a live concert performance. Most participants are from public schools. My son started his music composition career because his public school music teacher participated in MUSIC-COMP. I attribute this program as a key reason my son is a successful composer today! Giving students this opportunity is a cause worth supporting. https://www.kickstarter.com/…/opus-32-live-performance-of-s…
We can make this happen for these kids... Please pledge if you can or reshare to help MUSIC COMP make Opus 32 a reality.

Special thanks to the guest bloggers who worked with me to provide you with inspiring stories of making. Hopefully these post will provide inspiration that you can revisit as you bring creating and making in your own school.
