Sunrise begins over Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, Montana.
Photography Tip: Watch out for objects that merge together. I like this photo. The colors please me but I know that this would be a better image if the edge of that boat didn't touch the shoreline on the far side of the lake.
If I could do it again, I wish that there was just a little bit more water to completely separate the outline of the boat from merging visually with the distant shore. Rats.
Now I could move the boat around in Photoshop, and I am not opposed to doing so, but you know what would have been easier? I could have created more separation, and thus a better photo, if I had just held the camera up a little higher. One foot higher and I would have made a better image. Rats. Live and learn and keep shooting!
