The new video stabilisation in Google Photos is fab, this video from the Madness gig on Thursday shows just how smooth it makes things in a tight and jostling environment.

The only issue is that it can't eliminate the jarring occurring at the top of bottom of the 'shake' which becomes way more pronounced when it's stabilised like this.

Grand Theft Auto 5 - Photo Walks in a Virtual World Pt 2.
It's been a few years since my last  post  about my adventures with the Snapmatic camera within GTA5.  The previous entry was all shots from the PS3 version of the game. The subsequent PC release proved to be too tempting to resist and once I had fitted a g...

Keeping a close eye on the Chromebook market as mine is a little long in the tooth. This new +ASUS Flip looks very nice, very much looking forward to how it reviews.

I wonder what Australian availability will be like +ASUS Australia & New Zealand?

Also, this image: https://www.asus.com/websites/global/products/AH3CbipXdN2BuMww/images/img-chrome-webstore.jpg
Being used in the slideshow to demonstrate access to the Chrome web store is all kinds of terrible.

Google Photos Assistant did a great job making a short animation from the video I shot of Sarama having her birthday steak.

What has to be one of the most anticipated sequels in gaming has been confirmed.

However, the excitement of a new Red Dead Redemption aside Rockstar will have a hard time attempting to meet the likely unachievable level of expectation that has been created by the community.

From the product page: "Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."

The epic tale and atmospheric game world make RDR what it is and if they can recreate that here then we're in for a real treat. What I have concerns about is that Rockstar will focus so much on the multiplayer and the size of the world they may miss the little details that made RDR so engaging and replayable.

One way or another this is one game I am very much looking forward to and will certainly be picking it up on release.

The beta game I got the chance to play in Melbourne is now up and running in Tokyo, Japan. The most interesting thing in the article for me is +Scott Vandonkelaar mentioning the possibility of cross continent multiplayer.
Would absolutely love to be able to play in VR with friends from back home in the UK!
